More than two years later this mat is holding up to daily abuse. I use it everyday for all my exercising, heavy duty weight benches, dropped dumbbells, a squat rack, weekly vacuuming. There is NO sign of deterioration, its not flaking or crumbling, I can't find any holes or tears after all this time. The edges look fine, not deformed, lays flat. We actually ordered this as a 'play mat' for our kids playroom. Its just the right size and its easy to wipe in case of spills or other accidents. It took a few days to put items on the corner of the rolled up mat to keep it to stay down flat. I added rug grippers (this is on tiles).
