The media could not be loaded. I was pleasantly surprised with this toy. I wasn’t expecting much. I bought it because my cat often begs me to play with him, he rarely will play on his own. Sometimes my cat is fascinated with it, and sometimes he’s not interested, but even then, he always keeps an eye out. It also seems to encourage him to play with his other toys. Personally, I like the ball for myself! I turn it on, set it loose, and let it roll. I have a very small apartment, and the ball will roll everywhere, and has no trouble moving from hard floor to rug or carpet. It almost never gets stuck, and if it does, it turns off to save power. The ball’s wobbling motion causes it to wander erratically, which is perfect. I find it entertaining to have it rolling around as I go about my day. It reminds me of a hamster running around in a ball. Speaking of power, I like that it uses a USB charger rather than a battery. The ball lasts a long time after a full charge. It’s never run out of juice. I had hoped to post a video, but none of them really show it off. So the tiny clip I’ve attached will have to do. ... show more

My kitties like this ball ok. It doesn't work well on carpet, but it at least works well enough to get itself off the carpet and back onto the linoleum. Battery life seems good. I wish it was a little bigger because it keeps getting stuck under the kitchen cabinets and my dining room chairs, so it does take moderate supervision. Other than that, both of my kitties like it! I would definitely recommend to those who have a large linoleum area in their house, or hardwood floors. ... show more

My 2 kittens never play with this toy which you’d think is an indictment on it. But I actually love this thing. Because at night when they are going crazy with the zoomies and I literally can no longer keep them occupied all I have to do is turn this ball on and unleash it into the living room. Ive never gotten the impression that it scares them (maybe a little at first. but i touched them with it a few times gently and they seemed to understand that it wasnt some kind of alien super predator) but it DOES hypnotize them. The second I turn it on they immediately shut up, stop fighting to the death, and stare at it from a distant. My only hope is that they grow into adult cats before this trick stops working on them. ... show more

This was exactly as advertised. There was nothing wrong with it. I returned it, however, because my cat had absolutely no interest in it. I couldn't get him to play with it at all. I am only giving this 4 stars because I didn't entertain my cat. Know that it's a hard plastic, which might have been why my cat didn't like it. When he catches a toy, he likes to bat, bite, claw, and bunny-kick it -- which isn't possible with a smooth plastic toy. If it had texture to it, it would give the cat something to sink their teeth and claws into. If your cat happens to like a smooth texture, then I can imagine this toy being great. ... show more

Probably deserves a 5 star review. I gave it 4, simply because the cats seemed to be a little more concerned than entertained. The quality of the product is excellent. It will get stuck somewhere before the battery runs out, and it might be a fun game for the human to figure out where it went.
