Tool-less battery replacement lets you change batteries without removing the TLR-6 from the firearm or re-sighting the laser. Windage and elevation adjustment screws mounted in bushings support dependable zero retention, while the contoured housing maintains a secure, streamlined fit. Built from durable impact- resistant polymer, the TLR-6 features a tempered glass lens with a shock- resistant gasket and IPX4 water resistance for dependable everyday use. It includes two CR 1/3N non-rechargeable lithium metal batteries. • Great, but only from the right seller
Style: Glock 42/43/43X/48 (No Rail or MOS) Color: Black
This light is great, but before you read on, or order one, I have a small disclaimer. If or when you order this light, do not buy it from the seller "my goods". It took them over a month to ship this light to me. If I would have known this going into it, I would have driven to the nearest gun shop or sporting goods store, and just paid a few bucks extra to have it the same day. This is definitely a first world problem, but in this day and age, fast shipping is the rule, and not the exception. When I got my first delivery estimate from "my goods" it was about 2 weeks out. I understand that two weeks is not a long time, but being a Prime member, I could have selected another seller and had it much sooner. And if not in stock with a prime seller, it would have been available locally with a short drive and a few extra dollars. I immediately contacted the seller to see if they could give me a tracking number, or if not, I would have liked to cancel the order. Their response was something to the effect of, "we ship as soon as possible when we get orders." That was not exactly the answer to my question, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, and wait the two weeks. Over 1 month later, my light finally arrived. When I did get the light finally, I installed it on my glock 43 and was very impressed with the fit. As other buyers have indicated, it's as if Glock designed the light, and Streamlight manufactured it. Also, to piggyback and Echo what other buyers have said: this light is not for a "battle" firearm, so it is not the top-of-the-line "battle" light. But it is more than enough at 100 lumens to allow you to see your target. I have only adjusted the laser to sit properly in the sight picture at a range of twenty feet using my hallway. If there are any issues with it holding zero after I shoot it for a few hundred rounds, I will update this review with those issues. The windage and elevation screws take a notable amount of force to turn, so I imagine they will hold up to the recoil of my 9mm G43 just fine. Great light/laser, great price! ... show more

  • Streamlight Gets it Right
Style: Glock 42/43/43X/48 (No Rail or MOS) Color: Black
Wow - if you're looking for any type of flashlight for your 42/43 stop here. This light is well worth the $95-$100. The light is a very white, bright light with a great focus point. The buttons are also very easy to reach and turn on. I've had other lights/lasers where the button is this tiny little thing and you have to press 2 or 3 times to finally get it to turn on. The TLR-6 buttons are nice and big, and you don't have to press down very hard at all. They are on both sides of the light, so you can turn them on with your second hand's thumb, or your trigger finger. The laser also seems very high quality and the red is visible during the day. Comparable to Viridian Laser's, if you have ever used one of those. I even like this laser a little bit better than Viridian because the brass bushings around the windage/elevation controls seem more protected and durable, so a little added bonus. I personally don't use the laser very much, and there is an option to have just the light on, just the laser, or both light and laser together, depending on your preference. If you're on the fence about buying this, asking yourself if it's worth the money, I think once you actually hold it and put it on your gun you're going to wish you had bought it sooner. Ask a buddy if they have one and try it out, you'll probably love it right away like I did. It adds a very nice balance to the gun and evens the weight out very nicely. I've always thought the 43 especially felt a little "top-heavy," (if that makes any sense) and this really fixes that problem for me. The gun now feels like it should have came out of the factory that way. So for me that really added the cherry on top. ... show more

  • Great set-up for a G43!
Style: Glock 42/43/43X/48 (No Rail or MOS) Color: Black
You won't be unhappy with this set-up. It's an easy install and snaps/tightens very securely on the front of the Glock 43. The profile is perfect... very slim and the same width as the slide so it doesn't stick out at all on the sides. The ambidextrous push on/off button is simple to activate and you have your choice of setting it up for light, laser, or light and laser when you activate it (it doesn't have a strobe mode). It's not a super bright light (especially compared to the TLR-1), but it obviously has size limitations and I do not have any doubt is would cause a problem for an intruder if shined in their eyes. It's plenty bright enough to light up the room/hallway in a dark house. The laser is very nice and very simple to adjust with two allen wrench slots in the housing for elevation and windage. The battery compartment is easy to use and you're able to swap the battery without having to uninstall the entire light. Overall an outstanding addition to a compact pistol. ... show more

  • Necessity
Style: Glock 42/43/43X/48 (No Rail or MOS) Color: Black
I recently purchased the Streamlight 69270 TLR-6 for my Glock 43X, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. As someone who takes personal defense seriously, having a reliable light/laser combo on my firearm is essential. The TLR-6 not only met but exceeded my expectations. The installation process was a breeze; it fits snugly onto the pistol without adding any bulk or interfering with its sleek profile. The 100-lumen light output is more than sufficient for illuminating dark areas, whether indoors or outdoors. Plus, the integrated red aiming laser provides an added layer of precision to my shooting. In terms of performance, I've put this light/laser through its paces at the range, and it has held up flawlessly. The controls are intuitive and easy to manipulate, even under stress. I appreciate the ambidextrous operation, allowing both left and right-handed shooters to activate the light/laser without any issues. Durability-wise, Streamlight has once again proven why they're a trusted name in the industry. The TLR-6 feels solidly built and has survived numerous drops and bumps without skipping a beat. Additionally, the waterproof construction gives me peace of mind, knowing that it can handle whatever conditions I encounter. Overall, I highly recommend the Streamlight 69270 TLR-6 to any Glock 42/43/43X/48 owner looking to enhance their firearm's capabilities. It's a game-changer for low-light shooting situations and provides added confidence in my ability to defend myself and my loved ones. ... show more

Style: Glock 42/43/43X/48 (No Rail or MOS) Color: Flat Dark Earth Brown
Great product. Easy to install and sight in. Holds tight to lower and feels like part of the gun after installation. Well designed in that on/off button is easily operated and batteries can be changed without having to remove entirely. Bright light and laser that stays on target after hundreds of rounds. ... show more

  • Slick Little Light-Laser Combo!
Style: Glock 42/43/43X/48 (No Rail or MOS) Color: Black
You're certainly not going to blind anyone with the relatively low-intensity of this flashlight, but as a combo unit (laser and light) at a decent price and able to be installed on a pocket 9mm, it's a nice package. I took one star off for the fact that it's not very bright and because it uses very unusual and hard-to-find batteries (easy to find on Amazon maybe, but not so easy to pick up at a 7-11, Walmart, or Walgreens/CVS). Because the Glock 43 9mm doesn't come with rails on the dust cover, they had to go with a clamp mount (you have to loosen three screws and then it clamps on to the trigger guard from opposite sides). This means the unit isn't coming on and off quickly (a good or a bad thing depending on how you look at it). A nice bonus of the shape of this unit-- consistent with the length and width of the dust cover and slide-- is that it helps breakup the print-through profile of the Glock 43 in your pocket. Looks less like a gun in your pocket and more like a deck of cards (or something else). One other thing to note: Because this is meant to be used in a hurry, you pre-select what you want the button to do. You can have it activate the light only, light and laser, or laser only. This way you only need to tap the button to light it up, and tap it again to turn it off. Overall, this is an excellent product, and they did a very good job designing it to be streamlined ("stream" theme, hehehe) to fit on the G43. Unfortunately, I could not use either of my "bellyband" or ThunderWear-style holsters with the G43 once this was mounted on the frame. Even my holster that fits a G19 wouldn't work with the G43 and Streamlight attached. I also could not find a suitable alternate Inside the Waistband (IWB) holster that it would fit in. Sadly, I'll be returning this unit. If in the future I can find a holster that will allow use of this, I may once again purchase it. ... show more

  • Simple to set up and use
Style: Glock 42/43/43X/48 (No Rail or MOS) Color: Black
Set this up easily. The light isn't the brightest but it works well, and in the dark gets the job done. Activating the laser and light is also very easy to do while holding the gun. The laser is very easy to zero in and bright enough to see in the day. Very satisfied with this purchase and have recommended it to others as well. ... show more

  • Great for what it is.
Style: Glock 42/43/43X/48 (No Rail or MOS) Color: Black
Great addition to my GLOCK 42. It really is the perfect size. Product fit my G42 perfectly. Package indicated "assembled in U.S. with U.S. and foreign parts." Light provides 100 lumens. Relative to other streamlight offerings it's not much, but 100 lumens in a dark environment is plenty. Beam field is pretty focused to make use of those few lumens. I probably wouldn't count on the laser being usable outside during the day (haven't tested yet) as red is notoriously hard to see outside in daylight. However, the laser seems adequate at max distance inside my house with the lights on. Overall, I'd say it's great for what it is, but it's a compromise product. It has to be small enough to fit and you're just not going to get TLR-7 performance. It's a great backup in case something goes bump in the night and you forget to grab your flashlight when you're reaching for stuff in a hurry. This is my third streamlight weapon light. I wish it was 100% U.S. made, but I've been happy with these. It's always been worth spending a few extra bucks to get a reliable high quality product. ... show more
