I purchased my weighted blanket and duvet in March. The color is beautiful; the material feels great; the blanket weight is spot on for my size. By June/July, I had several areas where stitching was pulling out in numerous places. This was not ideal as the stitching facilitates proper weight distribution of the blanket. I reached out to YnM to see if there was anything they could offer to repair the blanket; I made it clear I was not looking for a replacement. YnM was somewhat slow to respond initially, but once correspondence was established, they maintained excellent communication. They also sent me. a brand new blanket. I thoroughly enjoy my YnM weighted blanket, but I love the service response the company provided. Top not h, YnM. Thank you for going above and beyond and for exceeding my expectations. Husband is the “hot” sleeper, so I mostly got it for him. He’s still warm, but he said he doesn’t wake up sweaty anymore. He thinks it actually does help him sleep better, less tossing and turning. The first night we used it he said it felt like a lightweight woman laying on top of him. 🤦🏼♀️ A few small negatives: due to the glass beads it’s recommended you don’t wash the blanket regularly, as it could break your washing machine or dryer. I would definitely recommend getting the duvet cover, as that can be washed regularly. Also, because it’s weighted, if it hangs over the edge of your bed on any side too much, it will slide off onto the floor. I would say if it hangs down more than 4 or 5 inches, it’s gonna slowly creep off the bed while you’re sleeping. ... show more

I've been in the market for a weighted blanket for a while. I'm a hot sleeper, but I love a heavy comforter. This one was advertised as being cooling, so I asked my husband to buy it for me for my birthday. Let me tell you - it's the best gift he's ever given me. The material is so nice and is definitely cooling, and the weight is divine. I loved mine so much that I bought the exact same blanket for my sister for her birthday! Love this blanket and it’s the perfect weight. Originally we purchased the 30lb due to our combined weight as it states in the description but it’s not so. It was too heavy and I’d keep waking up when I’d turn and so heavy when making the bed by myself. Bought this weight instead and it’s perfect for the both of us and really cool too. Honestly, I don't have trouble sleeping, I just enjoy the feeling of weight on me. It's kind of a workout to keep pulling it up over yourself when you toss and turn, but I don't have any complaints. The only issue is that there's nothing remotely cooling about this for me. I run hot, sleep with the AC on (right now), and it's still too toasty to be fully enjoyable. I tried a weighted blanket for adults but it was too heavy and I felt trapped. This one is just the right weight fort me. It appears to be well made and the beads are evenly distributed with the square baffling. It does have loops for a duvet but one was not included.
