So,far they have been good at warming the water. I have two and another 4x10 ft solar heater and they got the water up to 82 degrees with the ambient temperature only being 72. It was a nice sunny day and warmed the pool 18x9ft oval pretty good.

Wasn’t looking for much but this is a complete waste of money. Even in the 80s with direct sun the in/out lines feel about the same with no noticeable change. Can’t run the pump at night cause it it makes it the pool cooler. Would have to put in a bypass valve. Which isn’t included. Pretty much the same temps as using a cover. More money, more set up and nothing to gain. I highly don’t recommend this product.

Our 10x7 above-ground pool maintains a temperature of 85 degrees. In California, the weather is typically sunny with temperatures around 75 degrees. I highly recommend this solar heater for your pool. .

I hook this up yesterday and noticed an obvious difference in the output temperature of the water after it was in the sun for a couple hours. So it does seem to work. Unfortunately the build quality seems questionable. Notably the legs. They're made from thin cheap aluminum, one snapped on me just trying to adjust the unit to make sure it was facing the sun a little bit better. Now I have a unit that won't even stand up. Fit fine on our intex hoses but again I'd be incredibly careful since the legs are so incredibly fragile. For the price it's kind of disappointing the device isn't more robust.

It definitely works, I measured about +0.8F from input to output. Some very nice design touches that as an engineer I love seeing. I would give 5 stars if it had an extra 6' or 10' of hose. Such a simple addition would make installation MUCH easier.

We’ve had this thing running in line with our pump for two years. It seems to have very little effect on the temperature of the water in the pool. I would say useless.

Easy to install. Does not put any extra pressure on the system amd works great. I only get 4 good hours in the sun because of all the trees. My pool has been running a lovely temp of 82 for the last 3 sunny days. It's perfect. Highly recommend. Just for size reference the pool is 18 foot round 52 inches high.

This product does not work as advertised. The claims they make in their listing are very inaccurate. I purchased two of these pool heaters for our 4600 gallon pool. Together, the pool temp did not increase at all. I would not recommend this product.
