This is my review for YITAMOTOR Hard Tri-fold Truck Bed Tonneau Cover 5'9" Hard 3-Fold 2019-2024 1500 new body Make/model of my vehicle: 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew Cab RST Unpack/inspect/install time: less than an hour with no helper Review: I was looking for a bed cover for my pickup truck specifically a 3-fold hardcover as I wanted more security than the softcover option. The item was delivered and the product was damaged probably due to shipping as the item is quite heavy for a single person. 5 stars for Amazon for immediately sending me a replacement and arranging a pickup for the damaged product. Got the replacement, inspected the item and everything is in good shape and all parts included. Install (please refer to the provided photos)- No MOD needed. The product has all mounting brackets, spares, and an install guide included in the box. 1. Install the weather strip. (note at the end - excess) 2. Position the tri-fold cover aligning it with the pickup truck and the installed weather strip. 3. Mount the first set of brackets (x2) make sure it's snug and tight (do not over-tighten). Note- this is not a quick-release mounting bracket. 4. Proceed with the second panel (flip 2nd panel). Install the 2nd pair of mounting brackets. These are quick-release for easy unfolding. Make sure not to over-tighten. 5. Proceed with the third panel. Inspect the cover from all sides and ensure it is properly seated with all contact surfaces of the pickup truck. Note rubber seals are pressed against the surface to prevent water from entering the bed when closed. The best way to check for a good seal is to go inside and look for light from the outside. I have 2 sides showing a gap on both end corners of the weather strip. Easy fix: use the excess weather strip to seal the gaps (you may need to mark the area to install the strip and loosen the 1st-panel mounting bracket to allow you to install the weather strip on the marked gap area). 6. Final step. Check the tailgate and see if it opens/closes without any issues. Mine has a power tailgate (open only) and the cover does not prevent the tailgate from unlocking and opening when I press the remote. Closing the tailgate has no issue as well. Overall, this bed cover is made of durable fiberglass-reinforced polymer and I believe will last for years. It can be easily removed from the vehicle if needed. I did the installation myself in less than an hour. No modifications are needed. Exactly as described by the seller. Highly recommended product.

The cover and securing brackets seem durable. The installation instructions were easy to follow. Took me 15 minutes to install. This cover works with multi-tailgate. The cover is not worth the price. That's why I gave it a 4 star rating.

Took me about 20 mins to install. Easier with two people, but can be done with one. Easy to remove if full bed is needed. Will update with leakage status once it has been rained on a few times. So far I’m very happy with it.

I love our new truck bed cover. Does a great job securing items in the bed and also keeps them mostly dry! Easy to install and remove and ready to fold if you need added storage. Looks great at a fraction of the cost!

This tonneau cover is the same or higher quality than the one the dealership installed on a previous lease and they charged me more than I paid for this one.. (And this one is mine to keep!). It took me a bit longer because I skipped the first step. (I went by the guy in the video and he didn’t install the rubber gasket). This is critical. I installed mine sticky side up to the roll cover foam(I didn’t want sticky stuff on the truck). They give you extra so be sure to trim it so it is only as long as the inner cover (like 3” in each side). Then follow directions. Helpful hint-before you clamp, be sure the rails match up/are flat to your inner sire of your truck rail. I installed it on my own in less than 40 minutes (even with my mistake which I had to go back to the beginning and start over). Fits excellent and looks great! Great value for the money too!

Easy to set up, looks great. I have a Chevy Silverado 1500 Custom 2024. Only gave 4 stars because it didn't come with the weather stripping and I couldn't find any at my local hardware stores. The "extra security" straps are nice but I don't have anywhere to clamp them into in my truck bed so I ran a rope through my tie down loops and through the clamps. The other thing I wish it had was quick release handles on the top part as well for when I want to set up my bed tent. It's going to be a pain to have to unscrew them and reset it when I'm done. Overall I was happy with this purchase. I will update in a few weeks about durability.
