Cat tree looks great! The instructions could be better. None of the pieces are labeled, so you have to keep checking the instruction guide of what length each piece is. Took about 2 hours to put together total with the assembling and disassembling I had to do. In the end, though, I really like it. My cat was on it within 30 seconds of me tightening the last screw.

I built a similar cat tree during the times when we had to stay inside for a lot of the time. It was about the same height as this one and my cat loves to climb to the very top. I pushed it flush against the window with the blinds rolled safely up away from kitty's paws. Then I hung a darkened curtain around it for privacy, no one can look in and kitty has a curtain around her home. Now with this new one I will do the same only it will go in my bedroom against that window. I heard you should enrich their lives but since I have very little funds I decided to push the tree against the window and I could not believe how beneficial it was for her! She thinks she's so smart that I can't reach her when she's on the very top, but I've figured out a way to outsmart even her and down she comes. She's a registered companion animal and she has helped me through many difficult times. The least I could do is give her a tree for every window in the house that looks outside. And it's far enough away from my bed that she can't jump on me in the middle of the night - love this tree. Some of the hardware and the parts were cut a little rough but I was able to put it together in a couple of hours.

I have the sweetest cat and we recently moved into a new home. I've been wanting to finally buy her a cat tree because she loves to climb and be up high, but with the chaos of moving I've just gotten around to ordering this one. It was definitely worth the wait and the effort of assembling it because now she only comes down to sit in my lap or to eat! The cat tree is pretty stinking adorable too so that's a major bonus of not having an eye sore in my living room! It was pretty straight forward and easy to assemble, just took some time and careful attention. My cat was really curious about it as I was assembling it and supervised everything I was doing. I sprayed it with catnip spray to encourage her to climb it, but I don't know if it was necessary for her because within the hour she was perched on the top! I love the hammock, the scratching post, the hideout, and how TALL it is!! I'm super pleased with the quality and stability of it! Especially for the price! It's a great value and did I mention...it's adorable and looks really fun!

I have two senior cats that I love to spoil and it's been years since they had a new cat tree so I surprised them with this. I was able to build it by myself in an hour or so and it was fairly easy. I suggest laying out all the pieces and referring back to the listing image to double check where pieces go. Most were able to be screwed on by hand and the smaller bits had a mini allen wrench to tighten. My only issue is that some of the elements would be better suited for kittens and not full grown cats. The hanging hammock bed part is too small for my 7lb cat to use. Thankfully the whole tree is sturdy enough for my 16lb cat, and he is dexterous enough to climb all the way to the top as long as he's watching his step. Using treats has encouraged them to use all levels, but I'm still working on getting them to use the scratching posts and ramp. Overall very pleased with how cute this tree is.

This is a substantial cat tree, almost 6 feet tall. The instructions were good but one must pay attention because there are similar parts and hardware that are very close in size. I'm an experienced DIYer and I built it over two evenings. It took some brain calories to decipher the (ok but not great) instructions, double check the parts I chose and assemble. The hardware is of good quality and threads up correctly without much concern for cross-threading. The craftsmanship was decent for most of the parts but some of the upright supports had material that was not carefully cut to size and the stapling of that material, while generous and functional, had sort of a hand-made in a hurry vibe, but is not noticeable once assembled. The tree is suitable for adult cats. Mine is 10.5 lbs and the strength and stability is just fine. The tower offers a combo of scratching features, nap nest, hangout tent, tree perch and attached toys that show that some good thought went into the design. There are two sections that extend beyond the basic square base that act to further stabilize the tower. For its current selling price this tower is a value in a pretty crowded and competitive market.

While we don't have a cat, our son and daughter-in-law do, so we asked them if they wanted (and had room for) a "cat tree" in their new house and, while perhaps a bit skeptical, they agreed to give one a try for their beloved Moon. My daughter-in-law was impressed with the ease of assembly and that there were no missing or damaged parts. I was impressed with how tall it is -- much bigger than I was expecting. The cute cactus design has lots of fun features for cats: strings, springs, bells, hammock, bed, cave, climbing, scratching post, and massager. Moon's favorite spot is the cave, as you can see in the photo. This would be a fun gift for your kitties or for the cat fancier who likes to pamper their pets.
