I really like this credenza/buffet! I got it forestored and it is a helpful piece in my room. While there are a number of pieces, If you love a good furniture assembly task this is quite the challenge. The doors are probably the most complicated piece to install. I definitely needed help from another person to install the install the easy push pieces. Also I was worried that the decor on the front was gold and it is in fact wood drilling into the white area. Lastly the box and a couple of the pieces in the back did come with a few dents. However that is something that can happen when you get furniture unassembled delivered or assembled. ... show more

Took about an hour to assemble on my own. If you can build IKEA stuff you can build this, it was easy. 16 steps. Overall it looks great in our spaces quality I would say is sub-par to IKEA-type furniture, which is fine. Step 2 combining the middle portion the pieces barely attached, I used some wood glue to more securely attach the pieces and add stability. Just note the doors are NOT gold, they are brown like the composite-style wood they are made out of. I am overall happy since I got it on sale for around $160. Had zero issues with the doors as others posted, just used a drill and had the doors done in a few minutes. *Update* the cabinets really don't fit much/any of the liquor bottles I own (and planned to store). Not the end of the world, but just a heads up if anyone plans to store booze its a tight fit. ... show more

Not sure what to expect from a Black Friday deal but this was terrible to put together. The instructions are not clear and the hardware packages-esepecially for the doors-are mislabeled. I have put together a lot of furniture and this was significantly harder than it needed to be. Also the holes for the doors aren’t in the right places so I had to wood fill and redrill new ones. Biggest complaint though is the page is very misleading. The description reads inverted triangle carved add a sense of exquisite art and modern gold high legs will add style and character” first of all-not gold-brass. Secondly you assume that the carved triangle is gold right? Well, it’s not! It is cardboard looking bare wood. I got out my paint set and spent a few hours painting all of the grooves gold so it could be the design I anticipated and wanted. To start, Amazon's delivery initially went to the wrong address, and it took quite an effort to get the Sideboard Cabinet back to my home. Now, about the cabinet itself – it's a heavy piece that requires a significant amount of time to assemble. When it arrived, some of the wooden boards had minor damage, but considering they were for the interior and not visible, it was acceptable. The quality of the wood boards is evidently better than what you'd find at IKEA. Assembling it was time-consuming and not straightforward. The instructions were lacking in some areas, and there were even a few errors, leaving me to guess on several wooden peg placements. Additionally, this cabinet lacks handles on its doors. I'm not sure if it was due to my assembly or not, but one of the doors tends to be loose, unlike the other three that close securely. In summary, it's a decent choice for a buffet cabinet, offering extra storage space. It's worth considering if you're handy, but I wouldn't recommend it for those who aren't confident in their DIY skills. ... show more

Hard to put together. Had two people and it still took forever to line up the doors. I have similar products made by other manufacturers that were much easier. The magnets don’t hold the doors closed well but aside from that, it looks beautiful.
