I paid someone to assemble chair. The chair opened to lift position when plugged inm however remote will not work, making chair useless. Contacted manufacturer and they want me to return the chair, said they don't have extra parts to send me. I am 65 years old and disabled and don't have the money to pay someone to disassemble, no box to put it in and no money to pay someone to come back and assemble another chair. I purchased the 3 year protection plan, can that be used? Please help me. Manufacturer sent new electrical parts. Still can't get chair to work. This is a really nice lift chair. It was delivered 3 days earlier than expected in 2 boxes. Each piece was wrapped nice it it’s on plastic bag. Set up was pretty easy. Put the sides on then the back piece. Beware that the power cord is not long at all and neither is the cord for the lights around the bottom. In the front on the base there is a sensor type thing with two plug ins on each side. There’s a cover that goes over it with the dial at the top to control how long you want the lights to stay on. I almost threw those two pieces away! There are two wires with yellow tape on them to indicate those two go together. Everything else is self explanatory. The remote is bright with blue indicator lights for up and down. Right below is the power button for the heat an massage functions. It’s a light touch massage with several options including heat. If you’re expecting a deep tissue massage this isn’t it. One tip I would suggest is to put a non-slip pad underneath the base of the chair. Con- This is not a real leather chair even though the description states that. It should say PU leather but for the price we will keep it. ***Firstly, this was the second recliner lift chair I purchased for my elderly Aunt battling in Myasthenia Gravis in just two weeks from Amazon. The first was a debacle with the store owner only shipping one box rather than two containing all parts. Thankfully, Amazon came to rescue and processed refund so I could order this chair. *** Now to the current chair and service. This company on this chair purchase shipped this super quick from a Saturday purchase and them receiving by Wednesday with all tracking and verified information through UPS. Amazon suggested we sign for this given our problems with the first chair from a different seller. My family put the chair together and the chair immediately lifted but the remote would not work to lower the chair. We automatically thought there was a missing cord but a couple days later learned a cord was still hidden in the back part of the chair. I left a message for company to call me but eventually found online a better image to help send my family to properly identify all the cords. Now, the chair works perfectly after leaning one cord was not connected properly. My aunt is able to be supported and safely stand to use her walker. She just adores the heat and massage functions. There is led lighting on the mechanical base too which was quite amusing to us all. I highly recommend this chair and be prepared to fully identify and make sure all the attached cords are accessible before putting on the back of the chair. The chair came in 2 boxes with the base unit very heavy. Nice instruction book and the chair was easy to assemble. Electrical cables were color coded and snapped together well. The remote is easy to operate. The lift feature takes getting used to since the chair tilts forward and you feel like sliding out. You have to make sure to firmly plant your feed and be balanced before standing up fully. it is nice to have a USB port but it plugs into the remote so you have dangling wired. The vibration function is nice for relaxation Good value for this product. ... show more

The item was missing the backrest the side , motor loose , leather more like vinyl indented and filthy. Tube missing screws, this was a Gift to my Grandma.i was so embarrassed .

I really like this chair! It's quiet and comfortable. I sleep in it often. The only thing that could be better is, the vibration feature isn't that great, and I wish I could use the heat without the vibration. But all in all, it was a great value for the money!
