In no way do I believe that this will be a forever bureau. It was easy to put together, it looks nice, it was a great price, it is tall, but thinner than an average dresser. It is sturdy and will continue to be if you don't expect too much out of it. The draws are fabric with a finished cardboard bottom. Just remember don't expect much out of it. The dresser I ordered was missing a side piece. I messaged customer service and I was sent a new dresser the next day. I was shocked how quickly they replaced it! It’s cute, smaller and shorter than I expected but it’s cute for a child’s room. The downside is one of the piece came bent and I couldn’t use the nail listed to screw it together so I had to use a different screw and it ended up poking through the top of the dresser.
