I bought this for my ducks; the duck house I got for them literally fell apart and this seemed like a much sturdier option. I love the multiple ventilation areas and the ability to slide some of them closed (like in the winter to block drafts but then can open in the summer for airflow) and the roof vent that opens and closes. It does seem a little flimsy, so if YOURE getting it for ducks, I probably wouldn’t recommend it on its own outside vs inside an enclosure because of predators. It was easy to put together and the only downside is the lack of a door- which I knew about when buying and wouldn’t be necessary for a dog and since this is a dog house, no complaint. ... show more

I have to return it though my dog did not want to go in the dog house. she is very picky with where she goes. it was easy to assemble. it looked nice. no issues with the dog house. my dog did not want to go in there she's very stubborn.

Everytbing looked fine, box was fine, but opened it only to find a broken floor for the dog house. It was missing a round chunk of the flooring and had a crack on the side of the flooring. Idk how it cracked because the box it came in seemed fine… unless I received this item that was previously returned by someone else? Not sure. I bought 2 for my pups . It was easy enough to assemble, and arrived sooner than expected. I would say its pretty sturdy. One of my dogs likes to jump on top of it and lay. It holds him up no problem. If you have a dog that likes to chew on things I do recommend something different though. One of my pups chewed it theirs to pieces. Guys I want to share with you how to measure the dog house after thinking I had the wrong size I called customer service and all. But later I figured out the measurements are based on the roof. The size is spot on when built just measure roof ends I got double door grey house. Base is 27 inches by 38 inches height is 31.5 inch. Roof is 33 inches by 43 so yes it’s correct size use measuring tape. Your welcome now u know the correct size and how to measure don’t always measure the base only and think it’s off it can be based to the roof and the roof overhangs a bit to protect from water size is important.
