This is my second one of this brand, the first one I got was for a smaller shepherd and it was great, but my Anatolian wanted to sleep in it during storms. A bit small for a growing dog so I got the bigger one, and now they sit side by side. The dogs love them, and so do it. They look clean, are easy to clean, spider webs don't sit in them as readily as wooden ones (when outdoors), and the door height for this Giant one is perfect for a 130 lb dog. Lots of room, good protection. The only problem with this house is the assembly design. It's the MOST frustrating thing to put together alone, it really takes 2 people. I have another brand that just snapped together and has been together for years (also a plastic one), so the design doesn't have to be so annoying. Still, once this one is together it really does hold up. We have drug our first one all around the barnyard and my goats even sleep in it, so it is very durable, just a bouggar to put together. Impressive little kit! To be fair, I had low expectations for something priced as low as this was. When I opened the box I was a tad bit underwhelmed with everything. The dog house pieces looked a little flimsy but as I put it together, my views changed for the better. The pieces fit together quite nicely. The screws included actually did what they were intended to do and as I screwed each piece together, the sturdiness of the dog house increased 10 fold. By the time I was at the end of the installation, I was already tossing this dog house around and it was rock solid putting on the final touches. This house could easily take a basketball to it and not fall apart. (I'm sure your dog wouldn't be happy being inside at the time though). If I could go back and buy it again I would have no reservations whatsoever. If I had to try to find a negative just to be fair, I would maybe say that it came with extra screws which made me panic thinking I forgot something. So now I know, count your parts before you start! (or in this situation, count your blessings they gave you a few extra screws in case you lost one!) :) ... show more

Got this dog house in started putting it together, I think I had a side that was warped cause it kept popping out when I was trying to put the front part on. I went ahead and put screws in to help keep it together, it seems to have gone together good and looks to be very sturdy at this time. Hence why I gave it a 4 star rating……….if the one side had gone on better I’d have given it a 5 star. I just need to find like a plastic door way to put on as we did get rain heavy rain and of course it got on the inside right in the front, the back was nice and dry. I got this for my feral cats to help keep them dry and warm. I think it was a good price for the dog house. It wasn’t that hard to put together except for the side that was warped a little bit. ... show more

Well packaged. Very sturdy house. Our huskies Cowboy and Avery love them and have plenty of room. Bought gray one about 8 months ago to give good test...absolutely no issues at all even in winter so ordered the other one last week...arrived overnight. Assembly took about 10 minutes a piece. Everything fit perfectly, a Phillips screwdriver and rubber hammer is all you need and they send screwdriver with easy to understand directions and a pair of cotton white gloves. I didn't use the gloves...they will make a great gift. LOL Bottom line yes I would definitely buy again. ... show more

Actually kind of a pain to put together make sure you follow the instructions otherwise you will most likely skip a step and have to take it apart and rebuild it like I did but is actually really good material and my dog loves it

For my purposes this is great. It’s not sturdy or insulated like an igloo. Which I have. I am using this in an inside dog kennel It’s not out in the elements. I like the pitched roof. My one dog can’t climb on it. If you follow instructions it’s easy to put together. Put the roof together first. Make sure all parts are together tight. You might have to tap them together to get a tight fit Can be tricky to assemble. My Roof didn’t want to snap together right. I finally got it to I would not recommend this outside. In extremely cold temps. If you dog is outside a lot. If this doghouse is insulated it’s not much. It does give your dog shelter It’s good for the price. I have a couple of very insulated doghouses and payed over 300.00 for them. ... show more
