The first thing I noticed about this slingshot, upon opening it, was its hefty weight. It has a ‘full tang’ solid steel core which is encased in a beautiful wooden handle. It also comes with a large number of accessories which is a very nice touch. The accessories include multiple replacement straps, clay and steel balls (to be used as ammo), an ammo belt-bag, a magnetic ammo ring, several different kinds of targets, and not one, but two steel scope sights. Along with all that, is a few necessary items for assembly. All of that for only approximately 20$ is a seriously good value in my opinion. The short but detailed assembly instructions are clearly written with text large enough even for those of us with less than perfect eye site. They also feature color photos which helped me with putting it together. So far, I have only tested it a handful of times but I have noticed how comfortable it is to hold while firing and the strap has a satisfying snap upon letting it go. The 2 scopes (which are on both sides of the slingshot, allowing both right and left handed people to use them) are small, a little hard to see but effective and the one that has a water level is a really nifty feature. The scopes work in a way I had not previously seen before, with each notch designating how high or low the slingshot should be held depending on the distance of your target. There are notches for 5m, 10m, 15m, 20m, and 25m. I haven’t used it enough to tell how well these works as guides and it may be a bit of a gimmick, but I think its quite cool regardless. The only frustrations I've had with this item(and the reason for 1 star knocked off) is with the assembly of the scopes and the included accessories to do so. If you look at my attached pictures, you will see the scopes have red and green plastic dots. These dots are not added at the factory. You are expected to do this work at home, which is fine, its not hard and the instructions explain it clearly, but they do not give you enough of the plastic for all the dots. You may have noticed one of them is missing in my picture- its because I ran out on the last one despute the fact I was being extremely stingy because I could see how little material there was. On top of that, when I was first opening the box and inspecting everything, I opened the bag with the red and green plastic pieces and a few screws for adding the scopes and all the items were so tiny and hard to see, they spilled everywhere and I spent quite some time looking for them. Furthermore, the plastic red and green pieces kept getting lost while I was assembling because they are nearly invisible, being the width of a piece of hair. But despite that, this slingshot is a good buy. It would be a good gift for pretty much anyone. I give it 4 stars and if they could fix those few problems I had it would be an easy 5 stars!

Honestly I am not impressed with the quality of these slings. The pouches appear to be recycled and the bands feel weak.

I wasn't looking for a slingshot when I came across them searching for something else. Just the site of them brought back many memories from my Boy Scout days. (long time ago) Looking at literally hundreds of them, I came across this one. Then I really got excited. It looked very similar to my favorite one I made when I was a young scout. That one didn't have such sophisticated sites, or stainless steel. It was hand carved laminated from two different hardwoods. Oak and walnut. Anyway, I just had to buy it! What a Great deal for this kit! Arrived as promised and within 15 min. I was in the back yard shooting at blocks of wood sitting on a work bench at ten yards. After 3-4 practice rounds aimed a large tree trunk, It was time for the real thing. Using the sites I let go 1st round. MISS! Adjusted MY eye to the sites and Bam! next 4 were direct hits! Hah... I still got it... All the extras and accessories and the excellent quality, Definite 5 Stars all-around.

You're lucky if you can shoot anything bigger than a pea with this thing. None of the straps are very big or thick and the handle is super tiny. I was expecting more of a fuller size sling, but I guess you live and learn. I'm not sure how to size them up, but this one was a disappointment. We had already used it a fair amount, so we didn't return it. Sorry to be brutally honest, but I would find a better one.

used it today for easter Thursday. Had loads of fun. smaller than i thought but the gate is big enough for half inch rounds. It can shoot every from 6mm to 12.7mm ammo and rocks. The leather bag is nice and the little targets are fun to add to a cardboard box. almost a whole day of shooting. noon till afternoon used up two rubber bands of my own haven't used the ones it gave me. it looks like it won't rust but ill update if it does.
