I received only 1 big box to start with, wasn't exactly sure what I was getting. It was the evaporator that goes outside, but it had the hoses and a few other things. So I installed it. But kinda didn't know if there was another part to it. Luckily the 2nd box arrived the next day, and it started making sense how it fit together. Zero instructions, but who reads those anyways, lol. I installed the cooler blower part inside and drilled a hole thru the wall for the pipes. Everything seemed super easy. But then when I tried connecting the unrolled pipes together, nothing fit. There were caps on the pipes from the blower that were on real tight. I was hesitant to remove them, but figured I had to, so I did. Either allot of gas came out, or went in. I think went in, therefore it must have been vacuumed fully. Figured I should get an AC vacuum, luckily I had one laying around I could use. I connected all the pipes and also went looking for my AC gauges I knew I had somewhere. Found them and decided to vacuum the lines. I've installed home AC like decades ago, so kinda rusty. However nothing would fit the split systems connections. Eventually figured out you need to buy a special connector to be able to connect to their ports. Only 5 or 6 dollars, but totally needed. It came the next day, and I got back into it. That's when I figured they'd shipped the evaporator with the freon already in the lines. Genius, I was so happy. What a great idea. So whatever you do, don't open the ports by mistake and let all the freon out. There's plenty of videos that help with everything, but relax, it's pretty simple and straight forward if you think logically. Suck all air outta the lines, or vacuum, then let the freon into it. If you do the process exactly in the correct order, no problem. Wire everything up and turn it on. My house is tiny, 900sq ft, this thing keeps it icy cool. And it's friggin silent, wow. You just can't hear it. Finally new tech has cought up and everything is 3 phase motors, just like your ceiling fans. And you know you can leave your ceiling fans on forever and it doesn't even effect your electric bill, same with this, awesome. I hooked up my amp meter, it only pulls 1.7 amp... Yesssss. Compressor and 2 high power fans. I leave this on all day long it's so economical on power. And then, I just discovered yesterday, it's got friggin Wi-Fi and smart stuff capable. Wow. I got it hooked up to Alexa no problem. Luckily it works with smart give app which seems to the generic Chinese app now, which is great. What an amazing deal for under 500. I'm buying another it's so awesome.

So the unit is set up and the heat and cool function of the system is incredible... But the remote which is the only controls for the system (because you cannot hook it up to bluetooth as advertised to control it from your phone) so the stupid controls keep reverting back to 24 c which is way too hot for me and I am sick of walking into the heat and having to open the door to let the cold in and cool down, all the while this stupid thing is running until i manually turn it off because it refuses to go by how i program it at 18 celcius. It just changes it back over and over again after i put the stupid remote down. This would get a 5 star review if it wasnt for that and i just wish i could set it up and control it from my phone as advertised because that was a huge selling point for me. Now i am probably going to have to buy a new one that actually can be set properly and this was a huge waste of money.

I took a chance and bought this because our windows unit went out and this unit was on sale and a bigger btu than our ac and it was also a heater as well . This thing is super quite and very efficient and is wifi enabled . The remote i don't care for because it only works in Celsius and not in Fahrenheit but with the app on your phone you can control it in Fahrenheit and the app is easier to work than the remote . Easy to install and only thing you really need is a vacuum pump and a few basic tools . Comes charged with freon so that's why you need a vacuum pump. I bought one of those a kit actually and it was cheap and worked very well . If you don't get the kit you will have to buy some adapters for the 410 refrigerant hook up

There is NO way this unit’s fan claims to blow across the room as described. You cannot feel the air once you are more than 12-15 feet away from the unit. It does run quiet and that is probably why the fan does not blow hard. It does have a “strong” button on the remote but it barely blows harder than its high setting. Based on what the room size this unit is supposed to cool, it is not even close. I have this installed in my garage and I have to put an additional fan in front of it to push any cold air around. I was expecting better performance, because at work, we have split AC units that cool down IDF (computer) closets that have way more powerful fans. I know of another friend of mine that has a split unit in his LARGER garage and it works way better. That person even has a larger garage. Do not buy this for a garage! This is a 110v unit. I should have spent more money for a 220v unit if I would have known how much better my friend’s unit works.

My husband installed this unit and within hour we knew we need another for the back part of our house. Our electric went down $60 in the 1st month. (We were using 2 110 units to cool our house. I hope the heat works just as well. The only reason I give it a 4 star rating and not a 5 star is because you can not change celsius to fahrenheit on this unit. We know approximately where we have it set but must Google to know for sure.

So let's start with how easy it was to install, i installed this into my 34' 5th wheel rv that is my home as I prepare to build on my property. The noise level is eerily quiet compared to my 5th wheel ac that finally had went out. This thing cools or heats my entire rv and has reduced my electric bill by 25% which is awesome, therefore the value for the price is amazingly superb. Have no leakages and the quality of the build was awesome. I will say one thing I can not find the right qr code to install the phone wifi app or use the ac with wifi at all as of yet. However this is not a deal breaker for me. I will warn you that unless you can get the app from my understanding you will be doing Celsius to Fahrenheit conversions as it is in celsius.
