Works great and has a great battery life. I have used it frequently over the last month and it still has 3/4 bars on the battery. Kills pretty much any smaller flying insects (fruit flies & mosquitoes) with one shock. Bigger house flies occasionally need 2 shocks, but the first usually stuns them making it easy to shock them once more. I was initially worried that a cheaper off brand product like this would be bad, but its been great. Actually pretty fun to occasionally go bug hunting in the house.

Wonderful zapper. Old place had many fruit flies and was hard to get rid of. Got this and it zapped so many in the bathroom and near the patio. The zapping sound is quite loud. The light, if kept on automatic, is quite bright so be aware of that if you keep it in the bedroom. Otherwise it's a great night light for the bathroom or hallway. However, I have to say, at my current place the fruit flies here must've had a brain rewired and became smarter because they've been ignoring the zappers pretty well. The only issue I had was when one of the zapper's metal somehow bent and touched the other side it was making a different buzzing sound and was a bit scary. I didn't know if I should not use it or what. Haven't taken the chance to bend it back to see if that would fix the problem. Anyways, I love that it comes with the racket holder so I can just place it there without having to swing it all the time. Like how stylish it is. It had other family members asking and purchasing themselves some. Got my grandmother one of these too so she didn't have to swing it around. Overall, it's one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon. Hoping it lasts for years to come.

my house had a huge issue with a door gap unknown to me but this zapper was great to plug in and leave in the stand to work overnight. Sometimes you have to tag the bigger ones twice but works well. good value and easy to use

I have struggled with the common, battery powered yellow rackets that last about a year if lucky. This one has a rechargeable battery. It also has a stand and a night-light function that attracts flying insects. The surface area is large and even the tiniest fruit-flies wont escape. It is an attractive design with several settings. Do you have pantry moths? Flies? Mosquitos? It makes short work of them with a resounding crack, and you dont have to hit them twice. Fruit flies sound like popcorn! I cannot comment on its effectiveness on a larger insect. I like the design and it feels good in the hand. Easy to use and effective. Hope it lasts.

This is a pretty standard electric swatter - you charge it via USB-C, it has a base where you can run it on auto (Which I haven't really used yet), but I have swatted many fruit flies with it. I was dealing with an infestation like many people who come searching for a problem like this. I used standard bait traps (Which work well, but some of these flies seem evolved to not like them) It is designed with a wider mesh on the outside, and a finer mesh in the center, allowing you to kill larger flying insects as needed. This is one of the most satisfying items you should have in your house - as you FEEL them die with electric shock. You already hate them - so the 'ZAP ZAP!' and shock light as they hit your swatter is beyond satisfying. Great product, works as described.

We have a moth problem, 100's every time we go out on the porch. Trying to get back in the house let's in a bunch. We ordered this, and charged it immediately. My husband, my adult son, and myself all took turns zapping them. Most moths do not die on the first zap, and can fly off, but some moths die instantly. Smaller bugs die (and explode) right away. I like the fact that it is rechargeable. I also like the switch that you can do always on, or just when I press the button. The stand is nice, but I don't use it. The only things I don't like is the handle, I feel like it might fly out of my hand if I swing it too hard. And I worry that if I left it on the stand, a moth might get stuck on it, and it could cause a fire. Sometimes the moths won't come off, and you have to tap it on something to get the moth off.

Fair warning, unlike someone suggested, the best way to clean this is not with a wet cloth while it's powered on.... Seriously though, this does a pretty good job of just getting a few flies here and there just sitting in it's stand. The nice thing is that with flies that aren't attracted to UV light, you can still use it to kill them in the air. It's ergonomic and I haven't had any issues with battery life so far. It hasn't caused any safety issues around my kid or my pets. It's not huge, but big enough to do the job. I haven't tried other rackets.
