If you’re old school and your OG controllers finally burned out, these are a good replacement. The only hang up is the six-axis capability which is somewhat spotty. Heavy Rain made the problem most apparent.

Controllers work great for playing sports games such as NBA 2K. Controller responds to direction and buttons well. Shapes are on the buttons which helps a lot.

Ain’t terrible for backups but if you’re trying to play old cods or something just go ahead and buy a renewed DualShock 3. It’s impossible to aim with these things

These are what you want if you are resurrecting a PS3. These are MILES better than the standard Sixaxis. Way more sturdy, they don't crunch in your hand. They look super cool and function great. They work in PS1, PS2, and PS3 titles. Disc and digital. What a win. However, they don't include rumble, if you are looking for that. I haven't tested motion but I don't play games with that included anyway. 5/5, definitely recommend.
