This controller works well but it very light in the hand making it easy to drop in use or slide off surfaces. Cool look, buttons loose but functional. Connected to the PS without difficulty. Battery lasts as well as original and have used for rpgs, fps and other gaming styles without complaints.

Look I recently got a used PS3 but the controller that came with it didn't work so I needed to have some new controllers. They don't sell original controllers anymore yeah the feel is a little cheap but these hold up surprisingly well. If the battery doesn't last very long but there's two of them if one of them decides it wants to die then you unplug one to charge and then take the other simple and they're very responsive on the PS3

I bought two pairs of this product wanting to revive my old PS3: one pair of black controllers, and another pair of the colored one. Both types worked perfectly, I had no sensitivity issues with the joysticks as other third party controllers, however after one month of use, the left stick of one of each controllers broke and was no longer working. I was able to fix only one of them by opening it and switching the stick from a spare controller I had for parts, but it is a bummer that I had to open it and fix it after such short time of use.

These are what you want if you are resurrecting a PS3. These are MILES better than the standard Sixaxis. Way more sturdy, they don't crunch in your hand. They look super cool and function great. They work in PS1, PS2, and PS3 titles. Disc and digital. What a win. However, they don't include rumble, if you are looking for that. I haven't tested motion but I don't play games with that included anyway. 5/5, definitely recommend.
