These are what you want if you are resurrecting a PS3. These are MILES better than the standard Sixaxis. Way more sturdy, they don't crunch in your hand. They look super cool and function great. They work in PS1, PS2, and PS3 titles. Disc and digital. What a win. However, they don't include rumble, if you are looking for that. I haven't tested motion but I don't play games with that included anyway. 5/5, definitely recommend.

Controllers work great for playing sports games such as NBA 2K. Controller responds to direction and buttons well. Shapes are on the buttons which helps a lot.

This controller works well but it very light in the hand making it easy to drop in use or slide off surfaces. Cool look, buttons loose but functional. Connected to the PS without difficulty. Battery lasts as well as original and have used for rpgs, fps and other gaming styles without complaints.

I just recently got my old PS3 to start working again after gutting it up and cleaning all of the dust out of it, making it run like-new. My old controllers were all worn out and not working properly, so I decided to go with these. $20 for 2 controllers is a good deal. Overall, the quality of these controllers are amazing. The material is definitely different compared to a traditional PS3 controller, but they function very well and I have no functionality/calibration issues. The only problem with these controllers is that the charge does not last very long playing them wirelessly. I had these fully charged when I unboxed them to insure a good charged hold for some play throughs of my old classic PS3 games. By experimenting with how long the charge holds, on average, you get a good solid hour and a half on a full charge with these. They charge pretty fast which is a plus, but the overall wireless charge experience does not last long at all. But I guess that’s what I get for each controller being $10 a piece, realistically. I know for a fact the Sony DualShock3 PS3 controllers would definitely last longer on a charge. If you game heavily like I do, I’d invest in a 10ft-15ft USB 2.0 - USB-A to USB-B cable.
