We have a step-in tub length shower and this works perfect even with the raised nubs on the bottom of the shower. I was concerned it wouldn't stick but works fine, large suction cups hold it firmly but not hard to pull up to drain and dry. I can stick the top few inches of the mat to the wall of the shower and it stays till next time we need it. I haven't noticed any mold etc... but as I said we don't leave it full time stuck on the floor, it's easier to pull up and let it dry than have to clean it constantly. Nice large mat, easy to install, washes up beautifully in the washing machine for weekly cleaning. It is important to wash weekly because (as expected with any mat) it does hold a small amount of water around edges of suction cups. I got this mat to line the bottom of my shower, but sadly because its not a perfectly smooth texture this mat refuses to suction onto it. However it doesn't slide around either so it works for now. There is a moon shaped cut out for a drain in a tub, but also has a section of larger holes in the center if you have a center drain like me. For a center drain I find the holes don't allow enough water through so I do get some pooling. Cleaning is pretty easy as the holes are big enough to let most things through, although sometimes my wifes hair does get stuck in some. The suction cups also add a good bit of cushioning. I have had other suction cups stick to the surfaces that this wont, but for the price and understanding its intended use I cant really dock it too much. Overall this product comes across as "meh", not bad, not great, just *shrugs* "meh". ... show more
