Very weak battery powered motor Constantly fails (turns off) Changing batteries has no effect Very cheaply built and designed I do not recommend this product to anyone. I paid $8 for this. I got garbage for what I paid. Garbage.

    • I Can't Live Without This
I have long nails. They are real, not acrylic or press ons. They crack and split sometimes. But always below the skin line, where it is the most painful. Or I miss with the hammer and smash one. Out comes the acrylic repair kit. If this happens to you, you need this product. It will sand down the acrylic to a nice, smooth, finish. It will smooth out your thick, ridgey toe nails. It can file nails too. It's a must if you do your own manicures. I use it not only on my nails, but the pointed diamond bit gets rid of my tough toe cuticles. I just bought this as a backup, I already have one, but like anything else they wear out over time. This is one tool I can't live without. ... show more

    • It's an ok trimmer
I had one of these from another brand and it always worked well. This one seemed like it went thru the first battery quickly. It has slowed considerably, but since I was all done, I did not yet check the battery. It does it's job, but the slowness after just a couple of uses raises a question.

Batteries get hot while in use. Motor stops periodically. Not powerful enough to do all 10 nails. Kept stopping and got too hot to hold

    • I file my Invisalign trays with this, and do Dip Powder Nails
This thing is great for filing my Invisalign clear braces trays! Much easier than using an emery board. I have sort of thin fingernails, so I have NOT Used this on my fingernails, but if it will file down the plastic on my braces, I’m sure it will do a good job on your nails as long as you use a light touch. If you are looking for something to help make your Invisalign more comfortable I totally recommend this! *UPDATE* I started doing Dip powder nails (which are a the of acrylic) and use this to file the top smooth before the final top coat and it works GREAT with the pointy metal tip. The one I had bought last September finally died totally after using it a lot for 8 months. I just ordered another one and will prob also get a backup. How can you complain about this for $8? So mine worked out to $1 a month. I can live with that. I think this thing is great! ... show more
