This product was easy to apply. I applied it outside while the temperature was in the lower 60s so that it does not dry too fast. Considering how bad my dishwasher baskets looked, they now look fantastic. I had initially tried to get replacement baskets but these were too expensive considering my dishwasher is already 9 years old. And since this dishwasher still runs perfectly, I did not want to replace the whole appliance. Using this paint allowed me to save the cost of completely new rack. The paint is very thick so not real easy to keep it smooth, but overall it works well enough to hide the chip and slow up future rust in that spot. The color was perfect match even though I was unsure if my rack was light grey or white and took a chance - that paid off ... show more

My dishwasher isn't new, but it works great. My problems was rusted spots on the top of tines and where the dishes set on the bottom of the rack. I bought this hoping it would take care of my problem. I followed directions and after the drying time I used my dishwasher, perfect! You can’t return it for any reason, not even damaged, so I would check the fine print, and buy something else that does offer returns.

We had some small rust spots starting to show on the dishwasher racks, and this helped me avoid an expensive bill to replace the racks or the entire dishwasher.
