This upgraded chair version arrived Fedex undamaged and 99% assembled, only the back anti-tilt wheels and joystick need attaching. The chair is comfortable for me (6 Ft, 175 Lbs). I like the quick battery attachment, but you have to tote it wnen the chair is folded, making baggage checking awkward. I found a 12" canvass tool bag to strap beneath the folded seat. Joystick driving is a bit jerky until you get used to it, but the overall quality of materials, design and build is a strong machine well worth its cost under $400 for a 45 Lb basic needs unit. It cost little more than the battery cost for my other 500 watt chair. It collapses quickly and compact enough for smaller car trunks, excellent for SUV transport. As a woman in my early seventies, maintaining my independence has always been very important to me. Due to mobility challenges that have become more noticeable over the years, I decided to invest in this lightweight foldable electric wheelchair, and it has truly made a positive difference in my daily life. From the moment it arrived, I was impressed by how manageable it was compared to other power wheelchairs I had researched. At around 45 pounds, it is still substantial enough to feel sturdy and secure, yet light enough for my family to lift into the trunk of a car without too much difficulty. The folding design is one of my favorite features because it allows me to travel more freely and store the chair conveniently when it is not in use. The first time I used it for a shopping trip, I immediately noticed how smooth and responsive the controls were. The joystick is easy to operate, even for someone like me who does not have the strongest hand strength anymore. Maneuvering through store aisles, around corners, and in tighter spaces felt comfortable and natural. The chair handles indoor surfaces very well, and I have also used it outdoors on sidewalks, paved walking paths, and parking lots with good results. It provides a stable ride that gives me confidence whenever I leave the house. The battery performance has been reliable for my needs. I can complete multiple errands, visit friends, and enjoy outings without constantly worrying about recharging. The seat is comfortable enough for extended use, and the overall construction feels durable and secure. I particularly appreciate the 330-pound weight capacity, which contributes to the chair's solid feel and stability. Another pleasant surprise is the attractive purple color. The first time I used this wheelchair the brake handle fell off. I am only giving it 3 stars because the return for it was fairly easy. When I was in it it felt like it was going to fall apart. no cross bars came with it which is where the battery is supposed to sit so no place to put the battery other than your lap. Mechanicaly the chair is good. Runs well easy to manuver. Structurally not so good. Arms have become lose and sloppy though it still works. The real problem is after the sale service. Be conserned about he warrenty and availabilty of parts. Seat is caonvas and will eventually tear or rip and no response from the company for replacement. Better options. ... show more

I've had my power chair close to a month. I must say, this is the best thing that ever happened for me, or at least one of them. I go to dialysis three times a week so I'm always on the go. I was pretty much tied down with my manual wheelchair since it was impossible for me to go anywhere unless I had someone who could push me around. I'm not the type of person who likes to burden anyone and basically prefer to be independant. This chair helps me to accomplish that! When I received the chair the parts were the only thing in the box except maybe the side bags and the instruction manual. But it was easy for my grandson to look at it and be able to determine what belonged in their rightful place. I contacted the customer service of the company by email through Amazon. They were extremely helpful and I know personally that I will receive the type of service I expect. They were very helpful about the missing side bags and they ended up shipping them out internationally! I highly recommend this chair, it's strong, fast and more comfortable than my manual chair. The battery is lightweight, I'm a disabled 73 woman and I'm able to carry it with ease. I love the manual capability option. This is really necessary just in case the battery goes dead, at least you won't have to carry a dead load. I have nothing but good things to say about this chair . But I think the only negative thing I have about the chair is that the joystick has a "hairpin" effect. You barely angle it whichever way you're going to go and it's off like a race horse. This can be an issue when you're trying to climb ramps onto loading a bus or van. It's obviously something you get used to. I will say I'm still running mine on the lowest power during these times and high power when just basically going forward. I highly recommend you start off on the low end. My first day in I ended up in the bushed at my apartment complex but I'm getting around much better now. Am I happy with my purchase?, YES most assuredly! Do I recommend this chair? This chair is amazing, I have used it very little trying to learn how to manuver it. My apt is not handicap friendly. So I use it to take me to the car. But I am hearing noises coming from tires unknown why. This is second chair. Purple one is mine and other might be in my husband’s acct is for for my father and it’s still in box have not used it since is in rehabilitation center.
