Pillow with some customizability! Will it be too soft? Too hard? To full? Not full enough? I think you can make these pillows whatever you need/want! They come compressed and the recommendation to throw in the dryer to fluff up was spot on. They fluffed up large and I thought they’d be too much for me. I tried it and because of the memory foam it does have some give and will mold a bit to your head, neck or legs (if you use pillows between your knees like me as a side sleeper). It was a bit too big and angled my neck and hips in ways that were not ideal…BUT…the memory foam inside is in small pieces, not one solid piece, AND the pillow has two covers, both with zippers, so you can open up and take out some of the filling if it’s too much for you. This is why it’s a great option because you don’t have to try out different pillows for different people/preferences, and bother with keeping crappy pillows or the hassle of returning. Pullout filling to your individual preference/comfort level. Save it in a ziplock and tuck away in case you need some extra fluff down the road. I’d rather have too much and remove some, than not enough. I haven’t noticed much on the “cooling” claims, but I don’t run hot so for me it’s more about the flexibility. There is a slight odor when you first get them. So I let them air out a lot before adding a case and sticking my face on it. ... show more

I was hoping based off the reviews this would be a soft comfortable pillow, but upon first opening it was very stuffed and very firm. I took almost 75% of the foam out and I still feel it's not that comfortable.
