There is a reason this blanket has so many 5-star reviews. The overall quality far surpassed my expectations. By luck, the color I wanted was on clearance for $140 (regularly priced at $200). The soft top is just that - very soft yet durable. The bottom side is quite rugged and I'm certain is waterproof. Has a nice amount of insulation between the two layers. Best part for me is it comes in a very sturdy and attractive bag with hearty zippers, handles on nearly every side, and even molly loops so you can attach things if you wanted to. If you are looking for a blanket to keep in your car, this is it. Perfect for those cold bleachers during a football game. A nice warm layer if a passenger wants to snuggle up and take a nap while you drive the last couple hours to your final destination. If you get to a park and the picnic table is dirty you could lay this out on it (very washable) or set it on the ground and have a generous size blanket for a picnic. I am a very frugal person who is willing to spend more for high quality things because I'm likely to only buy one and keep it for years. This purchase was one of my top choices for 2025. I highly recommend it. It's one of those things you will have for many years to come.

Listen, I get it. It's a $200 blanket. How could it possibly be worth it? I had been searching for the better part of a year for the perfect picnic/camping blanket and had ordered and returned 3 different brands before I finally decided to give Yeti's crazy expensive product a try. Here's how it stacks up against the competitors. - The fabric on the "blanket" side is superior in every way. It is soft and comfortable, but durable. It's more or less waterproof itself, and wicks away moisture when someone spills on it. It stays clean, and everything from dirt to dog hair is easily brushed away. I don't know what magic fabric they chose for this side of the blanket, but it's perfect. Oh something stained it? No sweat. Spot treat the stain and throw the whole thing in the wash. Boom. - The waterproof cloth on the underside of the blanket is a miracle. It's pliable like the blanket fabric and seems to be woven out of some ingenious tech material that feels simultaneously thick and impenetrable yet also loose and flexible. It makes the entire product feel like a single, solid heavyweight unit instead of two incompatible materials bolted together. Many competitors felt like a tarp and a cheap felt blanket poorly sewn at the edges...see below. - It seems obvious that when combining the two materials you would want them to feel like one cohesive blanket, but all the other budget options struggled to achieve this. The fabric part of their blankets would separate from the waterproof part and you would end up with a jumbled mess. The Yeti blanket has stitched together the fabric and waterproofing sides across the entire body of the blanket. You can see this stitching on the diamond thread patterns across the fabric side. They keep the product feeling sturdy and durable. No jumbled messes here. - The carrying case is wonderful. It's made out of what feels like the same material as the waterproof side of the blanket and has a great strap that is easy to sling over your should when carrying it to the park. The zipper opens the bag WIDE which makes fitting it in easy. There might be a correct way to fold the blanket but I never have to worry about it. Just get it folded or rolled to the length of the bag and stuff it in. There's plenty of room. I might be able to go on about this but I'll stop there. This is the perfect picnic blanket. Period. If you are a bougie idiot like me who can afford to spend $200 on a blanket, don't skimp. It's actually worth it.

like all Yeti products, expensive but very well made and tough. We have 4 huskies who are pretty hard on just about….everything and so far they have not destroyed this blanket. As a bonus removing shedded hair is also pretty easy. Use it for covering the back seat of the SUV we use to haul the huskers around.

Best blankets for general use. Ours is kept in our car that way we always have it. Easy to clean! Comfortable to sit in. The best part though is that you can easily fold it and get it back into its carry bag which is perfect. It’s the only outdoor blanket I would recommend to anyone. Plus the colors are nice and simple. It’s even a great lap blanket if you are stuck in the rain watching soccer to stay dry.

I waited a long time before spending the money. I finally got it on sale for around $129. This is the top price I would be willing to pay for the products. So I only gave it four stars. It is however an awesome product. Thick, tough, easy to clean and store. We bring it with us all summer long in whatever vehicle we are in. I do recommend it highly, I just think it is overpriced.

Never go wrong with Yeti! This is a great for using as a mat/ground cover than a blanket. Although you can absolutely use it as a blanket. Beach, hotel room, picnic and so on this is the best!

This is an interesting ground mat/blanket hybrid. The black side is thick, rough canvas that can be placed on dirt/gravel/sand and hold up to abrasion. The top is a quilted fabric that is heavy-duty, like a moving blanket. As a festival ground mat, front porch to a tent, or floor to a bug shelter it's awesome. In a pinch, you can wrap yourself up in it too, just don't expect it to be soft and snuggly. It's heavy duty.
