Do Not Buy This Tarp! Total Junk. Put one on a cargo trailer. No wind, no storms, no bad weather, just sun. Two months and the tarp totally fell apart. Just disintegrated due to exposure to the sun. If you want a tarp to use outdoors and keep something dry and out of the weather, ........this is not the tarp to buy. Two months during the summer and this tarp just fell apart. The material was brittle and fragmented into small pieces. If you tried to move the tarp, carefully, it shredded with the slightest pressure. Do Not Waste Your Money. Ordered this tarp in April 2018 and placed it on our roof in May. We live in Florida and we had some roof damaged from a hurricane last year, We were replacing a tarp that had been on the roof for a year (waiting on Insurance). So we purchased this tarp because it was larger. We had to remove the tarp one week ago because it was literally falling apart. You could tear it by just lifting it off the roof. I believe it was old and had already started to dry rot. Manufacture would not refund our money because they said it was past the warranty period. ... show more

The first tarp I received had small tears and holes in it. The seller replaced it with no issues. This is a thick tarp and may be good for keeping dust off of a car or boat that is stored indoors in a garage, barn or shed. Does not stand up to the sun. Only lasted a few months on the side of my house that gets sun only about 6 hours a day in San Diego. After only a few months it became so dried out that it shredded under it's own weight. When I took it down to throw away it crumbled into tiny pieces. The previous silver tarp I had from Harbor freight lasted much longer. ... show more

I am using this to protect the sides and roof of a 27ft camper over the winter. I put the black side up to convert sun uv into heat instead of eating the plastic. It's pretty heavy duty and I have no doubt it will hold up over the winter. The only beef I have with this is, I realize tarps go by their nominal size before they are hemmed. For ex, a 10' x 20' tarp will start as 10 x 20 raw material, but when the edges are hemmed 2 or 3 inches on each size, the nominal size will be about 4" to 6" short in each dimension. so realistically you can expect 9'6" x 19'6", or 9'8 x 19'8". However, this one is almost a foot short on each dimension with 2" hems, so someone is cheating here just a little too much imo. That's not a deal breaker for me, because for the price I really can't complain much for what I'm getting, and it appears pretty sturdy. I would buy again. ... show more

I wouldn't even give it one star but I did so this review would register this has to be imported because you'll see in my pictures the black 1 that is still on my 5 t truck is on its 4th year and still whole. This tarp I purchase to put over didn't even make it 1 year. This is just junk don't buy it unless you are going to use it for something in doors... As a matter of fact it not only falls apart but is so brittle I can grab it anywhere and pull and it just easily tears right now. ... show more

    • Seems heavy duty during install, but VERY POOR GROMMET PLACEMENT, many 1/2 way OFF the tarp edge.

The 24' x 30' SILVER tarp I ordered is heavy weight simply by it's dimensions. Top is silver, bottom in brown. It's packaged well and arrived in Amazon's double outer box. When removing the bagged tarp from manufacturer's box, truly the very first thing I noticed was how several grommets were placed horribly, as in half-on and half-off the tarp edge. And since that edge has some sort of cord running around the whole tarp's outer edge, these poorly placed grommets obviously cut that cord. This of course makes those grommets useless and weakened the overall strength of the tarp. I was too far into my project to NOT continue putting this tarp over the things I was protecting, timing would not allow me to return this, but I otherwise WOULD RETURN THIS for that reason. Obviously there is no Quality Control for grommet placement; likely automated with no one ever even checking. I ended up clamping onto the tarp edges with some gizmo's designed to grab tarps and pull on them....kind of like heavy duty versions of old fashioned spring loaded clothes pins. No springs on the one's I had, but mechanical tightening onto the tarp edge with a sort of cam action. So unless you have other ways to grab this tarp, don't count on being able to use all the grommets without them pulling through the tarp edges. Jay in Seattle. ... show more

Edit: The first 3 months, this survived some decent knocks. But after only 3 months in the sun it has become extremely brittle. It can't even handle it's own weight anymore. I've had 80$ tarps this size last not much longer. But I have other cheap tarps years older than this one doing better in the same conditions. Original: At ~45$, this a great price for this quality and size. This last year has gotten me used to having to worse quality tarps for more expensive prices. My last tarp tore as I unfolded it, and didn't last long in the sun. This Yescom tarp feels durable. The "threading" doesn't separate. It has some rubbery heft to it. It lacks a sort of cardboard-plastic feel that I've become familiar with in "cheap" tarps. You never know how long a tarp will last until it's done, but I have good feeling about this one. ... show more
