I bought my YESCAMP slide topper as a replacement for the Dometic on our Winnebago View 24V. The Dometic springs had broken and they no longer made them (on a 7 year old topper). I thought I'd take a chance on this one as it was half the cost of a new Dometic. The instructions were great and I was extraordinarily fortunate that all of the existing mounting hardware was compatible, so I didn't have to use the new mounts or the fabric slide; no new holes! It looks great, works great, I'm a happy camper! The only watchout is the holes at the end of the roller mounts (see photo) are too small and I broke a screw in the first one. The second one I drilled out and it worked fine.

Even tho I had my measurements and dimensions correct, I appreciate how they wrote me a message on amazon to confirm before sending the unit. As an engineer, I try my best not to measure once and order thereafter! Everything was just perfect the first time. This is actually a very easy unit to build and install, you have to assemble the longer ones as they fold the awning and ship the shaft in multiple sections for these longer units. No matter though, just follow the directions using the screws from their exactly labeled bags (each screw size is properly labeled ON THE BAG - amazing and finally a company that gets it!) Just measure carefully and install per the instructions. I definitely took some artistic license on the mounting of the slideout brackets and shafts which hold the main awning shaft, so as to give the utmost support and strength to the unit. Installed in less than two hours taking my time and no problems or issues at all! Also the stainless steel screws were excellent quality - usually these kinds of things easily chew up with the screwdriver bit. But not the screws in this set, everything worked and no broken or rounded out screw heads. Gotta say exactly as described and would recommend to all my friends and fellow RV users - and I'm saving this in my list for future reference in case I need a replacement or to buy another!

Looks great and I already noticed a difference in the temperature of my toy hauler in the slide out area. Not too difficult to install, but instructions were written by a non-native English speaker so you may have to decipher a bit. This is definitely a two person job. I took a star off for a couple reasons: - The stainless steel hardware is low-quality. I snapped the heads off a couple of the screws, leaving me short. Luckily I had some extra hardware, but not everybody will. They should put some spares of each kind just in case. - Any place that you have to use self-drilling screws, you need to drill pilot holes or else the provided hardware will not be able to penetrate the metal. I feel like this should have been done at the factory.

This definitely a two person install but it is not difficult to install. It did take us about half the day. Of course we are 2 old guys that aren't getting in a hurry and working on ladders is not easy on us. You will need a couple of ladders. The instructions are good, the parts are well made, a definite layer of added protection from the hot summer sun, those pesky storms and ever falling leaves when parked under a tree. Just get.a good measurement of your slide out and order according to the chart provided. It works as advertised.

Excellent material, easy installation if you have help and follow directions well. Vendor will contact you to confirm fitment. That in my opinion is Excellent customer service to proactively make certain you have the correct product for your application. Make sure you have dicor sealing tape or at least double sided foam tape on hand.

I just replaced my slide out roof and thought this would be the perfect addition. A little extra insurance to keep the rain off of it. Installed just like the Video! Looks great! I’m mounted mine to the trailer a little higher than suggested. I think I have better runoff when it rains that way. It looks good works great.!

The topper works as expected. The only weak point are the screws to attach the hex extension rods. I broke three of the screws in different ways. Go find yourself some decent replacements before you attempt it.
