(Update) two weeks ago the charger broke and now the robot cannot be charged anymore. I took away one star for that reason. Only one because I still think this is a nice STEM toy. Very good purchase. I had actually bought one of those 13-in-1 solar operated robots that simply are impossible to assemble due to poor quality of the toy. After returning the cheap one I researched a bit more to see what I could find that would fit on the budget AND work. I am so excited for my 6 year old to open this up on Christmas! Do yourself a favor, and grab one now because you can never shop to early for a Christmas presents! This toy is really the best of both worlds for my son. He loves robots and transformers, building legos, and also is obsessed with RC cars. This is all of those, since you get the satisfaction of building it, and then you have a robot you can control by remote. This is the first super robot of my daughter. 🤖 The product quality is very good and the workmanship is very good. When we finally finished the assembly, my daughter felt very happy and excited. 🤗 We absolutely love this 😍 robot. We collected it in one hour. Looks very cool. It didn't come with instructions. Purchased as a gift in May for a 10-yer old and haven't inquired about it until just last Friday. This was a good idea to do with my 8 year old nephew. However, we had a difficult time with the chain on the robot and couldn’t get it to work right. It was as the chains were too tight. So there wasn’t any extra pieces. It was kind of disappointing. But he enjoyed putting it together.

    • Good toy, but not for older kids
This was a gift for a friend's son who loves robots and STEM stuff. He had a blast putting it together, but when that was over... that was about it. The remote was a cool feature, but for an 11 year old, he was over it pretty quick.
