I bought this playpen because my momma kitty had 6 kittens! At a certain point, I needed something to corral them all. The kittens are 4 weeks old today, and the pen works well. I was worried that the material would be cheap and that little claws would shred it. So far, so good. Even the mesh on the windows and doors is fairly heavy duty. Momma cat jumps in from the top, where I have half of it zippered open. As they get older, I will have to put them in an empty room in the house, but they can still use this pen as their sleeping quarters. I am very very happy with this purchase. I like the fact that it has a zippered vinyl bottom and zippered mesh top. When researching, I noticed some have a partially velcro'd bottom that I felt the kittens would be able to escape. I like the fact that it folds up and comes with a carrying case. I like the fact that you can wipe it down. I can see with the different size options (I got the 50" one) that this could be used for a variety of animals and uses. This is a good, quality product.

This is perfect for a brooder for chicks. I use disposal bed liners on the bottom. This zippers make for easy access. When hosed out, it dries quickly. Then, it folds back into a compact case to be saved for next time.

I’ve been using this for about 3 weeks now. Large size has room for a litter box, small water/food bowls and my kitten. But it already has a piece of wire coming through on top that forms the oval shape so that’s why I’m not giving it 5 stars.

My 17 year old Shih Tzu-Yorkie has CCD (Canine Dementia). Nighttime wandering and getting "lost" has led to some sleepless nights for him and US. We decided to try and contain him at night. He was NOT crate trained, and previous attempts over the years at using a crate were...messy...so this was a gamble. He also needs me to be next to him to fall asleep (for the last 3 years since we lost our female dog, he has slept in the sofa in his "spot"). I bought a new bed and a new blanky (he loves his soft blankets) for the playpen, and a piddle pad (just in case). This playpen has worked WONDERFULLY in keeping my boy contained when he wakes up to wander, preventing him getting "lost" and anxious and therefore waking us up. One of the best buys we have made this year! Quality is great.

I bought this pen for a cross country trip to give my 2 cats relief from the heat of the car. Initially, I was happy with it because it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. It was a nice size, lightweight, and portable (once I managed to get how to fold it back up down- make sure to watch the video on how to do that). However, one day while using the pen, the top zipper just split apart and one of my cats got out. I spent 3 hours searching for the cat which fortunately came back. My conclusion is that the top zipper is NOT well made/reliable. I cannot trust it so this thing is going in the trash. Too bad. As I said earlier, the concept is great but it needs to be made of sturdier materials.
