Watch a YouTube video, to assemble, and get yourself able to ride the vehicle. The manual from the company leaves alot to be desired. The trike is well made, the one I got was repackaged. You could tell by the box looked like it went through a war. Everything works, went together great after I watched YouTube video on assembly. Can't wait to ride it. Watch riding video, I had trouble turning it on. Battery symbol- is off, has to be circle symbol. Code #2 is you have one or both brakes in parking mode. Has 3 levels of assist. Controls are straight forward and are explained in the manual. Very glad with my purchase. I am 74, and can't wait to ride our local bike trail. This bike qualifies as a bicycle, no license needed, but wear your helmet. I'm wearing my motorcycle helmet, and fluorescent green jacket, safety first. Serial number is located on front fork stem. Website has no place to register serial number for warranty, website says you are under warranty for one year. They tell you to keep box for 7 days, remember mine was opened before. Website just tries to sell you stuff. Replacement battery is $449.00 why so much? ... show more

It's a great price. It was easy to assemble and it is easy to use. It also seems to have a long range even using throttle only and at top speed. I have traveled 7 miles on one trip (I live out in the country) at full speed and throttle only. The bike doesn't really have an actual battery gauge that I am aware of, but it does a simple 5 bar gauge and when I got back from that trip, it hadn't dropped a bar. It has 3 levels or "gears" and it's top speed is around 18 mph on throttle only. It does pretty good on paved roads, but on gravel it tends to shake the mirrors loose. I have big feet and if I put my feet on the peddle the way I normally would with the ball of my foot on the peddle my heel hits the fender as I peddle. I initially gave this bike a 4 star rating because it had a squeak when starting and slowing down and I didn't know what was making the sound. But I contacted the companies very helpful customer service and the squeak was just a matter of a little oil in the right place. They sent me a quick video showing where to put it. I purchased two of these trikes, one through Walmart, the other through Amazon. Both trikes were defective. The first display quit working after 4 days. The second, through Amazon axle is warped and the back tires wobble. Upon trying to return the trike, I took the pictures they requested and sent them in, in order to get the paid postage okayed. I received an email, stating without a picture of the warped axle it would cost me $300 to return the $700 trike. The people who were putting the trike together for me had already dissassembled the trike and took a picture of the box as requested ... show more

Sister put together easily. Accidentally cut headlight harness when unpacking. Customer service easy to communicate with and quickly responded. Replaced free of charge was very helpful. Arrived on time and in good shape. I couldn’t be more pleased with Eskute Tricycle performance. Easy to operate and ride. I also use at my campground to tow supplies. No issue with carrying weight. UPDATE: The seller told us the trikes are inherently unstable on uneven surfaces. We live in the country and have gravel drive and roads. The trike is not safe to ride in our environment but there is nothing in their ad saying anything about that. Now we are struggling with Amazon and the seller to get it returned and a refund. 2 days into negotiations so far with no resolution in sight. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Beware! Assembly instructions are sketchy. And the ergonomics of this bike even for an adult woman of 5ft- 6in are poor. You are positioned in a way that puts you ready to fall forward having your feet behind you on the pedals. This bike is really the size for a kid. Once we tried to ride the bike/trike it felt unstable and it wanted to steer itself to the left. Don't know if under power it torque steers. Very unstable. We never were able to successfully ride it down our sloped driveway to the street due to the instability. On the level street it's no better really. We would strongly suggest you buy a bike from a bike shop where you can really see how it fits you. That's what we will be doing. Now, we requested a return and refund. I know this will be a problem because I will never be able to get this bike...now assembled....back into a shipping box. And to add to the trouble I expect to have...the bike frame was scratched from shipping. So expect to go through this yourself if you find yourself in the same situation. We put it together, got a dog bike leash, and began training the dogs to run with us. It is not easy to learn the bike speed and brakes for someone who has not used one before or who is not a daily rider. But still, it was easy(ish) to put together with lots of videos we found online and other tidbits of information. The battery lasts quite some time, and everyone loves it, including the dogs :-). The only thing is that it goes downhill fast, and the brakes are beginning to squeal. There are a couple of things I wish were different: 1. As soon as you start pedaling, it takes off, even if you just want to pedal slowly and not have the electric component take over and go fast. 2. There is no speed tracking if you are going downhill with gravity instead of using the motor. It only tracks the speed if you are actively turning the lever to have the motor move it. The jolt it causes is not pleasant. We are thinking about buying another one. We are not sure if we will get the same brand or not, though. One more thing. One of the mirrors came broken. We contacted the seller and they said they will be sending us another mirror after we sent them pictures. We are still waiting on it. It’s been almost 10 days. ... show more
