A "puffer down vest?" You're kiddin' me. This vest fits great, but it is in no way puffy. I didn't buy it for warmth, so it's not a big deal to me--I bought it to wear while walking my dog during fall hunting season in rural Vermont-- I just throw it on over my cozy fleece jacket. It's a nice bright, visible orange; not quite blaze orange, but it mostly serves the purpose I bought it for. Would I like it to be warm? Yes! There is little to no padding to this but it's a packable puffer vest. I think it works as well as my one from Old Navy. I'm extremely happy that it's not bulky and doesn't get in my way. I ordered my normal size and it fits perfectly.

Very lightweight and does the job of keeping the cold weather off your chest. Other people complain it’s not warm enough but it’s perfect for a 50 degree day in the south. I can run around all day and do errands without feeling weighed down by a thick coat. I’m a size 12 and went for the xl. Probably could have ordered a large but I wanted it loose.
