As others mentioned, the prongs are a little long on these. I didn’t find that to be a problem. I snipped off 1/8” at a time until it fit perfectly, and that is no trouble at all. I give it five stars despite that — I don’t mind taking a few minutes to get something just right, and I’m very happy with the price of five of these copies vs the price for one OEM piece. I’ve tried these keys in 2 Craftsmen tools and they are not a perfect fit. I tried them in a radial arm saw and in a drill press. In both tools, the keys did not slide in as the original key does. However, by using a mallet I was able to pound the keys into place so they would work. I’m probably need to pry them out with a screwdriver. Not the perfect solution. ... show more

The item looks identical as the original but does not fit in the holes for it correctly. The two prongs are a lot thicker than the original. The plug does not go into the holes all the way, only enough to work. The plug sticks out a bit but enough is in the holes to work. I may need to file them down to fit better. ... show more

Info on this key states Sears sold this key under several part numbers including 22255, 60256, and 976863-001. I bought it to replace key 60256 and it doesn't fit. I bought a package of 2 and was able to file and trim one of them to barely fit, but it is hard to take out. The other one broke while I was trying to modify it. Modifying it was my best option as I have purchased and then returned similar keys from other vendors for the same reason...they don't fit. ... show more
