As an avid "edge of your seat" kind of office worker, this wasn't a huge leap. It kinda reminds me of the bike seat of a cruiser, so I'm quite comfortable with it. Quick and simple to assemble. It fits right underneath my desk, I wish it went a little higher, but I'm not too broken up about it (I'm 5'3"). The way the seat is designed kind of forces your posture otherwise you feel off. I don't sit on it consistently throughout the day as I alternate between sitting and standing, so this chair is perfect if you have a standing desk too. It's compact, feels stable, and it's easy to adjust. I don't feel any tightness in my lower back like I used to so I consider this a win.

I've had it for 6 months now in daily use for office work. While it's possible to slump over in this chair like any other chair, engaging some muscles in the lower abdomen enables me to maintain erect posture, relaxed shoulders, and excellent ergonomic alignment. Also, it's a breeze to steal a few seconds to stand and stretch briefly while waiting on response from the desktop. I would buy this particular model again. Why did you pick this product vs others?: The regular stool from this same manufacturer is also excellent quality. I don't know the anatomical reason, but I kept wanting to separate my legs in the regular stool for postural comfort, and it was difficult to maintain the position. With this stool, legs, of course, are naturally apart and my torso feels erect and free like no other chair I've experienced. I like the circular footrest at the bottom, although I move my foot position frequently. I like to rock while sitting, and I can rock freely. Build quality and ease of assembly are great. Just press hard to pop wheels into place. Moves freely on the wood floor.

Much easier to use than the standard round stool. It allows you to position your body closer to the table/patient with more ease. It allows for easier manuevering due to your leg positioning versus the round stool.

Very easy assembly! The easiest one i have ever put together. Even with my arthritis i had no problems. No tools required, just push the wheels into the base, put the hydraulic pump stand in center of wheel base, and then pop on the set and your done!!! Hydraulic lift works nice and smooth with ease adjusting up and down. It rolls surprisingly well on my carpet floor!!! This part i was really impressed with!!! My whole house is carpeted even my kitchen, and this glides with such ease and even going from the different carpet types from room to room there’s no problem!!! Very very impressive. Compact design is amazing and easily fits under my antique roll top desk unlike most other computer chairs. I just started looking at this style because it says it is to help with posture and hip and back pain… as someone with chronic arthritis especially in my lower back I really needed a better option for my computer desk. I was instantly surprised how much a difference it made. I could feel tension relief in my back and hips right away! Im comfortable and able to sit and work on my photography for hours now. As for design, i grew up with horses so i love the way it reminds me of a saddle and when I use to ride. Little side note… don’t forget it has a “horn” when you go to sit down… forgetting this and just sitting down and not looking…not as comfortable sitting sideways. Lol

I wish the chair had a little more padding to it. Towards the end of my appointments my butt gets alil sore from sitting on it but my back doesn't hurt so at least that. Pretty sturdy and everything is pretty well made on it apart from the seat needing a little more padding.

5 min use and I can say it seems like it will do what I need. The parts arrived in a smaller box than expected and snapped together quickly, more from common sense than from the pictorial directions. I thought the decorative ring was missing but it had bounced under a chair during unboxing. Unfortunately I found the ring after I sat down on the chair and everything had snapped together solidly after which it does not disassemble. No problem though as it looks fine without the ring. The wheels do catch a little on our rather deep grout of our old tile floor but not enough to require me to stop grooming to fuss with the chair. So all is well. I am thinking about a furry or terry seat cover to keep thighs from sticking to the seat in hot weather as shorts do not provide enough protection. The saddle nicely puts your legs out of the way so you can get closer to your subject. As for sitting down…or getting off safely!…Grabbing the pommel and throwing a leg over as if it were a real horse saddle makes getting on and off relatively easy.
