Description
What should I do first when the refrigerator arrives? After delivery, please keep the refrigerator upright and unplugged for 24–36 hours before turning it on. This helps protect the compressor and achieve optimal performance. What should I do if the box is damaged or the fridge was delivered upside down? Check for visible damage first. If the fridge was not upside down for long, it should work normally. Keep it upright for 24–48 hours before use, then plug it in and check cooling. What should I do if the wine fridge makes excessive or unusual noise? Remove items from the top of the fridge and place it on a flat, independent surface to prevent vibrations. Check for any obstrucctions in the fan or compressor that could cause unusual noise. What should I do if the wine fridge shows an ET /EE error code? For ET/EE errors, unplug the fridge and leave the door open for 3–4 hours to defrost. Remove any ice buildup before restarting and avoid very low temperature settings at first.

I love that I no longer have to keep running to the kitchen every time I want a cold drink. Everything is within arm's reach, which has been incredibly convenient. The cooler runs very quietly, so it doesn't distract from watching TV, reading, or relaxing. The LED digital display is easy to see and makes adjusting the temperature simple. I also appreciate the sleek glass door and modern design because it looks great in my living room and doesn't look out of place at all. I bought this small wine cellar to solve a very simple problem: we like having chilled white wine ready when friends come over, but I’m not great at remembering to prep ahead of time. Schmecke makes horrendously low quality products. Our unit died after less than a year. What's worse than their product is their customer service. Forced to jump through hoops with them to get a replacement only to be sent one with a that was damaged in shipping. These crooks tried to make us pay the massive shipping cost to send the damaged one back. Cheap junk made by a despicable company. Save your money and mental health and buy another brand. ANY other brand.

We love having friends and family over for dinner every week and while we prefer red wines for most occasions, several of our friends prefer whites. While I try to have a bottle chilling in the fridge most of the time so we have one ready when guests arrive, I can forget in the midst of hectic house and food prep for their arrival. I thought if we had a wine fridge it would cover me when I forget so we'd have chilled white on hand. We don't have room for a large size wine fridge in or near our kitchen or family room, but something smaller was an option. I came across this mini wine cellar on Amazon and thought it might work for our space and I was right. The petite fridge arrived very well packed in styrofoam on all sides. Despite its size, it was very lightweight to move and set into place. The door opens and closes smoothly and seals well. The glass is triple paned with UV protection, so you could use the cellar outdoors on a sun porch or covered patio without concern for sun exposure. The instructions indicate that the cellar should sit upright for 24 hours prior to plugging it in for the refrigerant to settle, so we did. The next day upon plugin, prior to setting the thermostat, the temperature read the ambient room temperature of 70 degrees. The instructions recommend cooling the fridge prior to filling it so we set the temp to 45 degrees Fahrenheit and let it sit. The panel is very intuitive. Press the F/C tab to toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, the light bulb icon to turn on the blue interior light, and the the "+" and "-" to set the temperature. It took about half an hour for the cellar to drop from 70 to 45 degrees. Filling it with room temperature wine warmed up the fridge's temperature temporarily to 59 degrees, and it took about four hours for the fridge to return to 45 degrees as it cooled the wine. Our favorite white has a very long neck, but the wine cellar's depth allowed us to refrigerate it without issue as the front door indents outward to allow for longer necked bottles. We now have 6 perfectly chilled options of wine for guests on hand and situated next to a chair in our family room, it serves as a chair side table with a few coasters on top . This is an excellent quality cellar and meets our need here perfectly and I can highly recommend this brand to you.
