Firm and Secure
Works great and easy to operate from either side. My gate is a little warped and the builder installed a slide bolt at the bottom to hold the gate fully closed but that means I can't get through the gate from either side. I bought this latch to replace the slide bolt at the bottom. I can operate the existing latch at the top by hand and this one easily with my foot from either side of the gate. It latches firmly and securely with no wobble. ... show more

Works great
This was easy to install and has nice heavy bolt to attach unlike others I've used. The powder coating is thick and uniform. It's nice and sturdy. It latches nicely and easily enough. My only concern is that after a month, there is a little rust where the bolts are against the latch.

Best Gate latch
Best gate latch I've ever had, so happy that I bought a second one for a relative and installed it on her gate too. This latch works wonderful and is easy to install. Gate closes great and a nice positive latching with easy handle to open.

Nature tested and failed
Worked great until the wind slammed the gate closed. I did not expect it to bend so easily. Now it's a little lift n hip bump to get the latch caught. Still works though...
