This product is super easy to install on a VoiP phone. We have a user who is remote at the moment and she can easily take her calls as if she were in the office. No need to connect her phone directly to her router.

20230502: this worked out of the box, almost plug and play. The instructions were a bit unclear, but some quick checking on YouTube found videos that cleared up the problem (YeaLink has an awkward menu system on the phone, with features that would be expected to be on the same sub-menu, similarly named) After getting familiar with how and where YeaLink refers to things, this was very easy to set up. Total installation time was about 10 minutes, including the reading and YouTube videos.

Product claims to work with Yealink T42S phones on Yealink's own website, but requires a firmware update to at least version 66.84.0.10. Make sure your phone can be updated to this firmware before purchasing this - AT&T provisioned devices are stuck at 66.81.25.9 as of 3/8/2021 and are incompatible as a result. AT&T has told us to purchase the WF40 model instead that works with their older firmware version. Will try and update this review if it does not.

Used for a work Voip phone which needs to be connected to my modem. This allowed me to get rid of 150F of Cat6 cable, FINALLY, and the signal is better than it was when plugged in!

The info for this product indicates that it is compatible with a long list of S series phones (i.e. T46S), but the version of this product that I received is the WF50 V1, and it is not compatible with any S series phones. Apparently at some point it switched from the WF50 to the WF50 V1. Nothing in the Amazon listing identifies that what they are going to ship you is the V1 version. So mine is completely unusable to me, as the phones I have are T46S and T48S. This is not simply a phone firmware issue. Yealink provides a technical bulletin that addresses the two different versions of this product and what phones each one is compatible with.

As long as your phone device is configured, it is plug-and-play. Plug it in and all of a sudden you have 5G connectivity to your Yealink phone.

Hello i purchased this so i could put this near my work from home desk. My desk sits approximately 50 feet from my router and it can not pick up a stable wifi connection. I was able to establish an initial connection and have service but after 10 mins the connection was lost never to be found again. I will continue running to my phone to see who is calling to inevitably not answer it
