  • Reliable and Holds a Strong Charge
Style: 503040 600mAh
This battery works perfectly for my small electronic project. It charges quickly and holds power well during use. The size and connector fit exactly as described, which made installation simple. It has been very consistent so far with no overheating or performance issues. The build quality looks solid for a small rechargeable battery. ... show more

  • Battery works well and brought a dead bluetooth speaker back to life, with some mods.
Style: 603048 900mAh
These Li-Ion rechargeable batteries worked well to replace the dead one in a bluetooth speaker. I have a small portable bluetooth speaker that stopped working when its rechargeable lithium ion battery died. The manufacturer is long gone, and the original battery is now unavailable. I disassembled the original dead battery and measured the size of the pouched battery, and found this battery was the same size, 30mm wide, 48mm tall and 6mm thick (that's what the 603048 marking on the battery means). In my situation, the battery I was replacing was in its own package with gold contact pads instead of wires, so I could not easily use the battery as it came. Instead I needed to use the original Li-Ion battery's BMS with it's contact pads. Here's how I did this: 1. I carefully cut the positive and negative nickle strips connecting the dead original battery to it's BMS, making sure to retain as much length as possible connected to the original BMS. I also noted the polarity for each strip, and marked them on the strips. 2. I carefully pealed off the yellow translucent capton tape that covered the BMS on the top of the new battery and carefully separated the BMS from the nickle strips coming out of the battery, one at a time by holding each strip firmly in a needle-nose pliers and then pealing the end of the strip away from the BMS, which left about 3/8" of the positive and negative nickle strips available to solder to the strips from the original BMS with its gold contacts. Make sure NOT to short these strips together as the battery arrives almost fully charged. The polarity of the strips is noted on the printing on the battery. Be careful or you can accidentally tear the strip off the battery itself (I learned that the hard way and had to order a 2nd battery). That's why I held it clamped in the pliers when prying it loose from the BMS that came with the new battery. 3. I carefully worked out the best way to route and connect the two sets of nickle strips together. 4. Using some flux, I pre-tinned the ends of both the new battery's nickle strips, and the ends of the strips coming from the original BMS I was re-using. This would minimize the time needed to solder the two together. 5. I started with the positive strips and pre-bent the end of the original BMS's strip almost over onto itself. I then folded the strips on the new battery so that the positive strip was mostly folded over one side of the battery, and the negative strip was folded over onto the other side of the battery. I then took the pre-bent folded positive strip from the original BMS and clamped it over the end of the positive strip on the new battery with the pliers, and then heated that joint enough to melt the pre-tinned solder together. I kept the heat and time to a minimum to keep the heat from melting the plastic pouch seal on the new battery. I then did the same with the negative strips. 6. There was a small rubber spacer strip that was in the original battery that acted as a spacer to keep the BMS up against the top of the plastic battery frame so the gold contact pads would make good contact with the pins in the speaker. I inserted that back in place between the top of the battery pouch and BMS. 7. I then wrapped around the top of the battery and the attached recycled BMS with some new capton tape, then inserted that into the plastic frame the original battery was in, and wrapped some more capton tape to hold the battery in place in that frame. 8. I inserted the newly built battery back into the bluetooth speaker and it powered up, and also was able to charge the battery when plugged into a 5v usb charger. The end product is pictured and shows how it turned out. Note the LEDs are lit up on top of the once dead speaker. ... show more

  • Perfect for PS3 controller
Style: 503450 1000mAh
Fits perfectly in my old ps3 controllers and has double the battery life capacity. Highly recommend getting HUVUL's battery riser from thingiverse so it doesn't sit right on top of the dualshock 3 board.

  • Not recommended for a drone
Style: 102050 1000mAh
I purchased this as the battery size would have been a good replacement for my Propel Flip 2.0 Drone. I had done a lot of research to match up the battery dimensions and this was even suppose to have the same voltage but higher mAh rating. (stock drone battery was only 750mah) I thought this would give me extended run time. Battery packaging was nice and it fit inside the drone battery case, but I did notice the wire gauge was extremely thin compared to my previous drone battery. Previous battery probably had 16 gauge wires.. these I would guess are closer to 22 gauge. In the end it was an unsuccessful experiment. Even though same voltage requirement and increased capacity the battery would only operate the drone for a few seconds and turn back off, not even able to lift off the ground. ... show more
