Firstly, this light is stunning. It’s just beautiful, bright, and the perfect addition to my space. I got the 9 light for my kitchen and a 16 for my dining room. The first two images are the 9 and the next the 16. The base is shiny gold. I wish it was more of a brushed gold but it’s still pretty so no big deal. My only complaint is the 9 light looks so much more sparse than the 16. The 16 is GORGEOUS and full of crystals, the 9 sparse. Not a big enough complaint to send it back, just something to be aware of. They work great. Dining room is on a dimmer and that works perfectly too. Love them. ... show more

This light fixture is absolutely gorgeous! I got the bigger one with like 32 lights on it or something. It took a while to assemble it and my arms were definitely sore, but it was easy to put together. I had an electrician install it just to be safe. He had it up there pretty quickly, though. It is an absolutely gorgeous statement piece and the pictures do not do it justice. I get compliments on it every time someone comes over. Love it! ... show more

This was very easy to install and looks so beautiful over our dining room table. However, I didn't read the description carefully enough and I didn't buy the right lights. The lights I bought work, but they're not LED, and they get very very hot. So I would definitely recommend buying LED lights to prevent from any future mishaps. I originally bought this fixture to go in the vaulted ceiling of our great room, but it would have been way too small and looked out of place. So we switched it to be in our dining room and the size is much more fitting for a small space. ... show more

The starburst effect is fantastic. The installation is terrible. The cable goes through a one-way "fingertrap" on the base plate, but there are no instructions that say this, so once you get it in you can't get it out. The base plate itself is cheap metalized plastic, so it flexes. Unlike most light fixtures (which install with screws vertically through the base plate), this one has screws that go horizontally into the sides. So: (1) There are visible screw heads when you're finished, and (2), there is no way to adjust the baseplate to bring it tight to the ceiling. So unless your box happens to be at EXACTLY the right depth, there will be a gap between the base plate and ceiling. It's too bad - this is a neat design, and if they had put just a little more effort into the installation, it would be great. As it is, it's OK. ... show more
