My local stores didn't carry this product and I was thankful to be able to find this item at a good price. We used it for our chicken run to protect our flock. It's easy to use and provides the protection we needed from predators. A must for backyard chicken flock protection!

It doesn't work, it's soft, the squares are not 1 x 2, it has different ones, there are squares welded like the wire is tied together. It comes deoded, full of dents, when you prick it, the other side unsolders. I have lost my money, I did not return it because of how much it weighs. All my life I have made cages with this type of material, but this is the worst in 10 years that I have bought. ... show more

I used this as a foundation for my rabbit cages, used it for all sides and the top but the floor which I used 1/2inch by 1inch on. Quality control on these wires are very poor, I have encountered random areas where weld came undone. And random places where the wire just isn't straight, luckily those places didn't quiet affect the areas I used so I'm just LUCKY. Overall if you plan to use like the whole thing, hope for the best you get a good roll 'cause half the time most rolls I got has some kinda damage to it. And I've order about 5 of them and I'm gonna keep buying them for what I use them on. Good price decent enough quality again for what I want for. ... show more

It's decent wire for the price. There were a few spots on the ends where the welds were broken but honestly I've gotten worse from the local hardware store for a lot more money. I use this stuff for all of my rabbit cages with the same brand 1/2 by 1 inch wire for the floors, and using M clamps NOT j clips....I hate those things. They are sturdy, even at 24*48 inches with a overlap in the middle of the long side (since the wire is only 36" and I have to add another 12 inch section.) In all, I've got about 70 active cages. With a medium to large rabbit (8-14#) in them full time, they last about 3-4 years before you need to make any repairs which I consider a reasonable time. Is it the best quality wire out there? No. No it's not. But it is definitely worth the money. At this point I think this is the 5th or 6th roll I've bought and they have been fairly consistent in quality since I started building my own cages about 3 years ago. They also come very very quickly, usually about or under 48 hours, and are well packaged. ... show more
