My local stores didn't carry this product and I was thankful to be able to find this item at a good price. We used it for our chicken run to protect our flock. It's easy to use and provides the protection we needed from predators. A must for backyard chicken flock protection!

    • Not consistand width..
I got it for making animal cages. The width fluctuates by a half in or so. As a result, making cages to fit the racks was rather difficult and they looked a bit ugly as a result.

It's decent wire for the price. There were a few spots on the ends where the welds were broken but honestly I've gotten worse from the local hardware store for a lot more money. I use this stuff for all of my rabbit cages with the same brand 1/2 by 1 inch wire for the floors, and using M clamps NOT j clips....I hate those things. They are sturdy, even at 24*48 inches with a overlap in the middle of the long side (since the wire is only 36" and I have to add another 12 inch section.) In all, I've got about 70 active cages. With a medium to large rabbit (8-14#) in them full time, they last about 3-4 years before you need to make any repairs which I consider a reasonable time. Is it the best quality wire out there? No. No it's not. But it is definitely worth the money. At this point I think this is the 5th or 6th roll I've bought and they have been fairly consistent in quality since I started building my own cages about 3 years ago. They also come very very quickly, usually about or under 48 hours, and are well packaged. ... show more

Welded wire you had one job. There are Many welds that were NOT broken during shipping. there's plenty of damage from shipping as well, but that's not something id hold against manufacturer. There is at least one weld per 2 ft section that wasn't welded when it was made. I bought this to make small animal cages and as poorly as its made i cannot trust it. Will call this a learning lesson. Don't buy this junk made product, you'll be sorry. ... show more
