**Update** We had someone come to install the new one which was promptly shipped to us, and it turns out that it was just a loose connection that the electrician didn't check, so it wasn't the light after all. I'm revising my original review to give them 5 stars, they look great and work well if they are installed correctly, lol. **Original review** They look great, but our electrician just installed them and only 1 works so now we have to decide whether to tear down the one that's not working and replace it or tear them both down and go with something else entirely. ... show more

I installed one in the entryway at the bottom of the staircase and one at the top of the stair landing. They look great and each one is large enough for each separate area, but because of the near proximity of the areas i wanted lights that matched and these worked out perfectly. They shades are real glass and the bases are real metal.. not some cheap plastic crap. I was pleased with the quality of the lights for the very low price.
