This wasn’t as large as I was hoping it would be on my wall, based on the images in the advertisement, but it still looks good when hung. I was going for a bohemian look and I think I achieved that with this! It’s super easy to hang (just like hanging a painting) and adds dimension to your room. This is a beautiful piece and works great as a statement above my bed. I was disappointed that the color was not the same shade as pictured. Mine was more of a dirty stone color. It is still nice, but not the creamy beige that is pictured. It is also not as think as it looks in the picture. I recommend using a steamer or wrinkle releaser on it once you hang it because the ropes are very wrinkled when it's taken out of the packaging. Overall: I'm glad I purchased this. This wall hanging is perfect! I thought it would be thin and not great quality but I was wrong! It is thick and beautiful and easy to hang! The price is excellent especially for how big it is. The photo is taken above our queen size bed in the guest room…really sooo happy with this purchase 💛

I purchased this wall hanging for an empty wall above my daughters crib in our master bedroom. ITS PERFECT!!! I searched everywhere for a piece large enough to cover the wall/be centered over the crib but they were easily over $100. The price on this is very reasonable and the quality is great! It’s heavy, thick and I imagine it will last forever. I hung it on a bamboo stick from Home Depot. I actually use these sticks to hold up plants in the garden, but it was long enough for I hang this macrame piece! Very pleased and highly recommend! ... show more

    • Pretty, but a complete pain to hang with dowel

Sure this is pretty, but what a hassle to hang it if you want to do so with a dowel. I tried to use the same thread it had by snipping off the farthest two ends and tiring those to the dowel.... well they slide inward and scrunched the macrame up. I ended up having to buy more string so I could have one piece long enough that isn't tied in the middle in addition to buying the dowel. I then drilled a hole all the way thru the dowel on each end and tied my new string they those holes. Total pain! The “hooks” they give you will only work if you choose not to hang it with a dowel and are plastic, makes this look super cheap. Definitely should give people the option when buying to get the hanging accessories or not.... cause this thing almost isn’t worth the hassle! ... show more
