My granddaughter who is very artistic was excited about this gift but the bells cracked easily. She got them painted but she has not attempted to hang them yet. Hoping they'll hold up!

Update - the seller shipped another kit immediately and that set is fine, none of the pots were stuck together. Looking forward to making this with my grandkids. ---- (Original post) This looks like a great kit. Nice size, all you need to have the grandkids complete a good gift for their parents. But as mentioned in other reviews, two of the pots are stuck so tightly together that they are unusable. I saw those reviews, but took a chance and lost. Going to return this. If the return is easy, I might reorder in the hopes I get a good set next time. Wish me luck!

This was a lot of fun with my granddaughter. Threading the chimes was a little tricky, but not that much - may have been me since my 6 year old granddaughter was the one who ended up threading them. The stencils were easy to use and were reusable!!

I bought this kit so my 4-year-old son could make wind chimes for his grandparents as gifts. I couldn't have anticipated how much fun he'd have with it, and my kid usually has the shortest attention span. He carefully painted both pots by himself and then I helped him with the stencils. After we finished the first set of pots, he immediately asked if we could decorate the second set. The finished product is SO super cute. His grandparents will absolutely love it! The only thing that was a bit tricky was assembling it once all the pieces were ready; no way a kid could do that, but I am not very good with those things and I was able to figure it out, so it shouldn't deter anyone from buying this. I'd absolutely buy it again to have my son make as gifts, or for our home!

I got these wind chimes for my daughter (4yo) to paint for the grandmothers for Mother's Day. She loved painting them and it was very easy to use! LOVED the stencils it came with and they worked perfectly. I did have to put them together but the directions were easy to follow. The paint dried quickly and the whole project took maybe 30 minutes. I gave it four stars because ALL FOUR terra cotta pots were cracked. I should have expected that but was still disappointed. I did super glue all the cracks on the inside of the pot and they were able to be painted over. We will see how long they last. But the moms loved them!
