The Rug is soft and the anti-slip backing works well. For the 1st couple of days it stayed put with no movement. My dog is like a tornado so nothing can 100% stand up to her energy when she gets the zoomies. I got the rug because she falls a lot on our floors and so we have different rugs through out the walkways for her. Our last rug there had loops and was falling apart. This rug is great for pets since the fibers are short and not looped. It is very soft they love to lay on it. The color is nice and the Patterson seema like it will hide stains overtime. My other dog has issues with throwing up when she drinks water and I was able to just wipe the rug with paper towels and it did not stain or show the mess and did not seem to soak up the mess at all since I got to it quickly. This rug is beautiful, very soft, and lightweight. There was a couple fold lines that were raised when I first put it down, but after about a day or two they are completely gone. My only downsides are 1. I thought the rug was teal and orange, it’s actually an emerald green color. 2. It is hard to use the vacuum over even on the highest setting.
