Considering how expensive this shoe rack is, you'd think the QC would be better. The first rack I received had crooked pipes and the metal frame was inserted into the wood lower on one part than the other, so the frame bars were crooked too (see photos). I don't think it's that unreasonable to have the screws (which the pipes insert into) properly spaced apart and the frame bars to be inserted at the same height so it looks straight. Does the factory where this is assembled not measure the spacing? Do they just eyeball where to drill in the screws and put in the frame bars? I got a replacement shipped from Amazon and it's a bit less crooked, though not perfect. But the fact that there's variation in how crooked the rack is should be taken into consideration if you decide to purchase this. ... show more

We have a very small entry way and limited space for a shoe rack. I normally wouldn't spend this much, but I am happy with the purchase. It is sturdy, easy to put together and because it's adjustable, I know it will fit another space if we move.

Really enjoyed it at first but after two months in - without even using it very often due to not leaving the house - it completely fell apart and can’t be used properly anymore. This looks nice in our mid century modern home. I love the adjustable length- it fits the little nook perfectly- but the bars that hold the shoes are not adjustable and they’re a bit far apart for kid shoes (toddler sizes) it works, though, and the kid’s feet will only get bigger.
