I bought this for a guest bedroom to dress it up a bit and upgrade from the old flimsy and noisy metal bed frame with box springs. I loved the cost, loved how easy it was to assemble, love how quiet and study it is and I love the overall look. My only negative remark of this bed is how it comes shipped with little packing to protect it. Paint is chipped off around nearly every one of the decretive spindles and one of them is even partially smashed. Thankfully the one the is smashed is on the footboard and flattened on the backside of it so it’s not very noticeable at all. See pictures for examples of paint chips and smashed spindle. I ordered a second one to try to get one without damage, and the same thing happened in that box. Overall it looks good and seems to be worth the price. The bed is fairly easy to put together, but having a helper makes the process smoother & quicker. It looks quite nice and has support pieces to keep it from squeaking. We set it up for a guest bedroom, and everyone who has visited us and used this bed says it is lovely and comfortable.
