I bought this to replace my current bed (wood headboard and sideboards) that was part of a furniture set that was damaged in a move. This turned out to be a purchase “that you get what you pay for” as I really couldn’t afford another nice bed with a headboard. I set up the bed. The assembly was not easy as suggested in the reviews (1.5 hrs). It took 5 hours and I didn’t feel the bed was very supportive after I put my hybrid mattress on it. I was right. The very first night I slept on it, the sides caved in which I didn’t know until I rolled over to turn off my alarm and almost fell off the bed. Supposedly, this bed frame could hold hundreds of pounds. Also, I ordered the Queen which the dimensions of my queen size mattress said it would fit. It doesn’t. It’s hanging over on all sides. I ended up paying someone to come to my home to secure the bed frame (he used one of those nail power drills to re-screw the nails into the frame. He put the mattress back on the bed and my mattress, 80x60 is still hanging over the sides. Last, the headboard is more white than beige and is some kind of fabric that feels like it’s nylon. Overall, even though the price I paid was not much, I am not very happy with this purchase. I contacted the manufacturer and was not satisfied with the response I received. Also the height is lower than I prefer. I’m sure I’ll replace this in about six months with a better bed. Maybe it’s better for a guest room that’s hardly used. ... show more
