So, basically I needed a lower bed because of my dogs. Both are older, one with a knee injury and arthritis. And both refuse to use stairs or any assistance getting off and on the bed. So I decided to look for a bed that sits lower to the ground. My mattress is 12 inches and this ends up sitting about as high as the chair and a half I have. Putting it together wasn't hard. Just a little time consuming. The fact you screw in the slats increases the sturdiness, but also means taking it apart and putting it back together again a lot will be an issue. This bed is very similar to the Tarva bedframe from Ikea. The Tarva runs about 200 with the slats. This one, even with the $40 in shipping was only about 100. All in all, for the price, the bed isn't a bad option for what I needed.

Good, easy simple setup I did by myself. You don’t need an electric screwdriver but will probably make the process much quicker. I got a full size, I like that there is no squeaking or noises or shifting. It is very sturdy and I highly recommend. You likely won’t get much storage underneath unless you have your items flat or get a bed risers, but I do not find under-the-bed storage necessary, but it is something to keep in mind.

This is a solid bed. I like that the wood slats have to be screwed in instead of just sitting on top of the base, made it feel overall much more sturdy. One downfall, I suggest having a power drill or lots of patience and muscles to put this bed together.

I don’t recommend this frame. There are no pilot holes to build the bed. So while building it, if you just screw the screws in like it tells you, then your going to strip all your screwed. Waste of money and the company won’t respond to me and Amazon tells me it’s not their problem. Basically I have a pile of wood in my room half way put together and no way to take it apart unless I saw it apart because the screws are stripped.

Assembly wasn't bad at all. 2 persons worked on it and figured it out. Directions are very vague as they are from a foreign language but use common sense and heed the law of the land, Dont torque down any screws till all are in place. Then go ahead. It will make a more uniform tight fit.
