Good quality bed. I've been searching for a strong bed on Amazon for months. This was worth the prize. I love the material that's use. It took me an hour to set up. Make sure you have power tools for the slats on the base. Love the colors and the look. I will be updating with pictures soon .

    • WORST Amazon Purchase in History!

This goes down BY FAR as one of the WORST AMAZON PURCHASES in my 10+ history of shopping on Amazon. My experience was so bad, I litteraly had to allocate time to sit down and thoroughly detail how horrible this purchase was. For context, I am a single woman, with next to no help, that was being forced to move in under 30 days - so I was under quite a bit of stress; more so than your typical move which I have done a plethora of times. Each place I had moved to prior had come furnished but under a time crunch this place was completely unfurnished. Naturally, I turned to Amazon to prioritize an affordable, speedy, simple bed frame. This was particularly a priority because I wouldn't have a chair or anyplace to sit but my bed, and the floor needed to be cleaned, so setting up my bed was my first priority. I scheduled it so that it would arrive before my first night there, and DOUBLE, TRIPLE checked that this was easy self assembly so that the night I moved in I could bang it out and atleast have my bed as a refuge while everything else gets ordered and cleaned. You can imagine my surprise when at 10 o clock at night after an exhausting couple of hours of moving I unpack the bed to quickly assemble it to find out a power drill is needed! In disbelief because I was sure I read the description properly I was relieved to see that it says a power drill is "recommended for speed". So you can imagine my suprise again when after about 30 mins of assembling the frame I realized, no, the slats will not stay in place alone. Already maxed out from the move I did not own any sort of power tools or the money or space to purchase and keep one. Exhausted I had to sleep on the filthy apartment floor in one of the most uncomfortable nights of my life. The following day I immediately attempted to use a quicker, cheaper alternative by using double sided gorilla tape for the slats. Again you can imagine my dismay when that keep the slats in place and BOOM I go falling through to the floor while eating chinease food, NOT because of the slats, but the side panel that comes pre assembled rips/breaks off out of nowhere. Not a part that's fixable on the consumer end, a pre screwed nail,, which once again without a drill can not put back in. This defeats the purpose of going with the tape and I now need an entire replacement! By now I was so enraged I just wanted a refund and to try something that's actually self assembly, only to find out your only two options are to REPACK the existing frame, send it back, wait for a refund and then order a new bed! Or get another one sent to you. Already stressed from moving, this company now wants to add to my workload by packing and shipping their defective product...or get another one when the first one didn't even solve my problem. I had no choice but to go with the replacement route, which tacked on another three days of sleeping and doing everything on the floor...when I chose this product to avoid this very thing. When my replacement arrived, I decided not to take any chances and found a friend to just lend me their drill. I have now not only followed the instructions to a T BUT even added the additional slats from the previous bed and nails for extra support!! You'd think that'd be the end of it.....I wanna say about a week or two of wobblyness and constant shifting before YET AGAIN, BOOM in the middle of the might after showering the pre assembled left panel just outright rips off and subsequently about 4 planks that I nailed in! Mind you! It's litteraly just me laying in this bed 5'3 160 lbs. Whole bed just falling apart even with extra support and drilled in nails. Less than a month in and I'm back at the hardware store shelling out money for duct tape. This bed has been a nightmare! The only reason I give it a star is for the beautiful beige design but that's not overly hard to find. The center planks still won't remain sturdy even with the duct tape so I sleep with a dent in the middle. This supplier preys on desperate consumers promoting it as an easy assembly affordable option but at this point I was better off paying a little more for actual easy reliable assembly. Even with access to a power tool it IS NOT sturdy or reliable. Price up a little or go with another supplier. This was a nightmare. ... show more
