I literally just opened it up and put it together.....my cheeks are so happy!! It's comfortable and it feels sturdy! It was really easy to put together....it took me like 15 or 20 minutes. I know some have stated that its low, but I'm 5'2" and it's perfect for my short stature. My feet are firmly planted on the floor and my back is completely against the back of the chair. I took a risk and bought this chair from Amazon as Used instead of New on 1/24/24 with a estimated arrival of 1/26/24, but was delivered the evening of 1/31/24. Overall was slower shipping than expected, but the item was a Used/Return. That said, there was no visible damage to the chair other than a very small knick to one of the legs that is almost invisible unless you were really looking for it. I'm not sure if this was what caused the chair to be returned as it looked like it never left the original packaging when I opened it. The assembly process is tedious, but not difficult. Aligning the bottom to the back is possibly the most annoying part, as the chair has some give to it making the screws back out as you tighten them down to the soft cushioning. Again the softness of the chair gives it some plush form, so when tightening the arms on, some screws will back out and become loose. You really have to go back and forth tightening them all until they feel like they're firmly tight, and maybe give it a slight push just to make sure it's really well fastened down. From the other reviews, I'd read that people struggled to align the screws, and to them I would suggest not tightening to back to the base all the way down until you have the top screws in the arms at least finger tightened and aligned so you can get everything together, this is something that the instructions suggest as well and I found it to be a required step to get proper alignment. Once assembled, the chair it's self is quite low to the ground and initially feels firm to sit in, but I suspect based on the underside that it will break in over time, as it feels quite plush once you relax back into it. There is some subtle leg wobble that makes it feel not totally sturdy, it might be because I didn't tighten it all the way by accident and I plan to revisit the screws after writing this. I would also suggest finding some sort of ottoman to recline your feet onto when sitting in this chair as the best seating position is more reclined than upright. Save your money and get a folding chair with cushions at Walmart. Holes are so misaligned that the pressure applied to the bolts damaged the threads. The pressure being applied to the cheap wood is so high the wood starts to split with the bolts only a 1/4 turn. These chairs for the office are comfortable but short. Everyone jokes that they are child sized. I didn’t see anywhere that the height was shorter than average to warn me. We will keep them because I still like them but they ARE shorter than average

Arrived early. Easy, intuitive assembly. Clear instruction booklet (with pics and words, either or both work). Holes DO line up! There are three holes on each of three sides. Orient seat pad with holes to right and left and behind. Front has no holes. Then attach back rest per instructions. If holes don't align, you've prob got it wrong. Comes in 4 pieces: two sides made of wood and back and bottom pads. VERY well packaged. Wood parts carefully wrapped and pads bagged with cardboard inserts between. Leather is PU, meaning the bottom half of a split (or filleted) hide treated with polyurethane (PU) for durability. Feels more like vinyl than leather but works. Full grain is the whole hide.
