  • Nice platform bed
Size: Queen Color: Natural Wood
This platform is just as it looks in the picture. I like the light colored wood. The quality of the wood and ease of assembly were appreciated. Directions does say it takes 2 people. But , I did do it myself with 4 tv trays to lift frame . Take your time. Once you get the legs on correctly, the long sides fit just fine. Then put on floor. The slats come connected with black material. For ease of assembly cut them into singles. (4 slats have you attach support legs) Do this first insert metal cog on side of leg and then/ take long screw, slat and leg and assemble. ( It's a little time consuming) But take your time and don't get frustrated. Then lay and space your slats on frame, power drill with provided screws to secure to wood frame. Once this is done, you will have a nice solid platform ready for Matress . Please cut the slats off black material, your assembly will be so easy. ... show more

  • Easy to assemble & good quality!
Size: Full Color: Dark Walnut
So this is weird I’m gonna leave a good review for once on Amazon lol it’s definitely helpful. If you have a drill I have like a like a screwdriver drill whatever and I did have to drill a hole that was like the bottom support that goes down the middle was missing the hole in one spot but other than that I find incredible value in this frame. It’s actually very beautiful and I found it very easy to put together. Don’t forget to do the washers or else you’ll be doing the bolts to the legs twice like I did, but that’s not the product fault that’s my fault. I don’t really read directions. What I did is I flip the boards upside down and that way I could put the legs on the floor Upside down flat and then put the bolts in. I found that very helpful and then once I got the frame together. I flipped it over onto its feet and then put the slats down. You do have to be a little careful putting the slats in because it would be very easy to split the wood. If you went too close to the edge other than that, I think $100 for a forward Frame for a full bed is remarkable. You probably wanna have furniture pads for all the feet including the center supports thank you and have a great night. ... show more

  • Skip one step and its simple to assemble
Size: Queen Color: Natural Wood
I made a video which I am going to upload shortly. In that video, I figured out just why the reviews are so bad for this bed... its the instructions and the way they want you to build the bed. Skip one step, and it's actually very easy to assemble (more about that later). The bed is solid wood (which is getting harder and harder to find), it's nice quality wood and for once not a mixture of particle board. The bed is a platform, so it's lower to the ground but with a 14 inch mattress, it's just about right to comfortably transfer from standing position to sitting. There is enough space underneath to utilize for storage or a roomba/vacuum to get underneath and clean without having clearance issues. I went with the lighter pine as I have a small cabin and am trying to keep the room from being too dark, feeling larger than it really is. Pine is pine, its a bit yellowish in tone (not on the seller or manufacturer, it's a natural wood tone) I am likely going to sand it and bleach it a bit, hoping to get closer to my flooring color of a bleached french oak. Because its actual wood and not cardboard, I have plenty of options to change the color or stain of the bed, which for the price is amazing. Below I will attempt to sum up what and why people are complaining about the assembly, providing a solution which makes it simple and easy to build. The instructions, yah... they design of the instructions and the way they want to build this bed is absolutely infuriating but its easy to skip one step and save yourself alot of irritation. Building the 4 corners is easy and pretty quick, took me maybe 15-20 minutes to assemble the bed from pieces to a structure. The last part is why people are complaining about the assembly. It wants you to lay the slats down and then assemble the middle piece/brace and its posts. Then somehow threat the 4 bolts thru the slats, piece center support and through the legs into a washer type screw lag... I dont know what to call it, we've all dealt w it using ikea but the holes burrowed out are too wide and too deep, so it moves, which prevents you from easily treading the lag bolt thru the 3 slats, center support and the leg your attempting to attach. Skip that non sense and simply build the support w the 4 legs without utilizing the slats to connect it. Threading the bolt thru the support to the leg is so so much easier than attempting the chaos they're trying to get you to do. Once you've built the center support w the 4 legs, simply slide it under your slats and then run 4 screws into the center posts from the top of slats... essentially where their bolt hole is for the 4 center support/legs you just built. All that bolt is doing is bringing the support together and then keeping the center from moving. Just throw a few extra screws beside their hole so it goes into the leg from the top. Then your'e done. I know this sounds extremely complicated but its not. Hopefully I can upload the video so other can see its not as intimidating as it sounds. You're simply build the center support without running it thru the slats, then sliding the center support under the bed where they wanted you to waste an hour trying to attach 4 bolts to the slats. Once I figured out its not needed, I had the bed built in under an hour. I would not suggest this to someone who had dexterity issues, as it does require a bit of touch and attention to thread the 4 bolts into the silly piece to lock it in. You need a power drill as the slats are screwed in from the top into the side rails, they pre-drilled the slats but not the side rail its being screwed into. Its a great bed, its really wood, its cheap for what you're getting. Skip that one step and I promise, its simple to assemble. 4 stars because it limits people who have dexterity issues and your instructions are absolutely ridiculous. Bed's good, fix that! ... show more

Would’ve given 5 stars for sturdiness and ease to fit if you’re two people, but the color is different- reddish and disappointing!!!!
