We purchased this frame to replace our old one not really expecting much, but were pleasantly surprised by the quality. The box arrived well packaged, and nothing was damaged. The whole thing took about an hour and a half to build with 2 people and was very straightforward. It's a very sturdy frame, and we haven't had any issues with squeaking. I will say that even though it is sturdy it is very lightweight so it slides easily, this isn't a problem for us because our bed is in the corner but if you have your bed not up against a wall I would highly suggest getting grippy pads for the feet to help it stay better. The gold color is not too shiny or yellow which I really like. Overall we are extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend this product to anyone looking for a simple and affordable bed frame

I bought this for a guest room. I was initially somewhat skeptical based on the price (5 stars for affordability), but I figured I'd take a risk because it was, after all, for a guest room. I was pleasantly surprised. It is VERY sturdy. Let's walk through unboxing, assembly, and my finished assessment. Unboxing: everything came well packaged, yet with minimal styrofoam waste. No damaged pieces. Impressed so far! Assembly: Took me about 2 hours using the included tools and watching a Hallmark movie. Might have gone a little faster had I used power tools. Instructions were easy to read and clear. Parts were clearly labeled. The screws/bolts/nuts were in labeled blisterpacks. A few extras were included just in case, although I didnt need them. Holes were drilled out correctly. I had no trouble putting pieces together. It went together smoothly. I did a final tightening of everything and snugged it all up. Stability/Sturdiness: Admittedly, I was initially a bit skeptical. The frame gets progressively more sturdy as it comes together, I promise. I was also concerned the round mattress rails seemed narrow, however, my concerns were unfounded. I put a 12 inch memory foam mattress (also purchased here on Amazon) right on top of the frame. It fit snugly between the head and foot rails, so it doesn't shift around (win!). I can't feel the rails through the mattress; no lumps or hard spots (win!). There are no squeaks or wobble in the frame. It is STURDY (double win!) Final assessment: I have no complaints with this product. It was extremely affordable. It's sturdy. It's attractive. Very pleased with this purchase! I know I mentioned using this in a guest room, but I would have no reservations purchasing another for everyday use. Great value for your money!

I liked the style of the bed, although I got sent the wrong color. I ordered bronze and got black, but it was so many parts and I wasn't about to shove them all back in the box to exchange for the correct one. It was a lot of work to put together, but the pieces were numbered and the tools weren't very helpful I used my own, it supports the huge mattress I ordered and both my and husband's weight which is considerable. There's no squeaking when we get up or lay down or roll over. All in all it was worth the money and the difficulty putting it together, I really like it shipping was really fast too

This bed is a great value. Looks really nice and is sturdy- comes in MANY parts and need organization and patience to put together. It is not hard, just lots of bolts that need to be tightened. My screw package was ripped open when it arrived so it was a pain to figure out which ones were which, and a few were missing. But I love the bed and would order again.

Great frame at a very reasonable price. I am a petite older female and had no problem unpacking and assembling by myself. I did use my own tools which I preferred to the ones provided. (Allen wrench and a crescent) Instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. I had watched the video before purchasing but didn't need to view during assembly. I bought the bronze and it looks much like the picture. This bed looks beautiful. I think this style is very versatile and would work well with farmhouse, boho, shabby chic, rustic, western, or eclectic decor. Legends never die. Happy customer-me .

I purchased the gold frame and it's a beautiful color! It is perfect and sturdy enough for my young teen. There were alot of pieces to put together but wasn't hard at all to assemble. One of the mattress slats did arrive cracked but I reached out to the company and they sent me another one quickly. Will definitely purchase again in the future when I upgrade my other daughter's bed.

I was quite impressed with this bedframe. Well-made and attractive. It is shipped in a box containing a huge number of parts but if you take your time, separate all the components, and work through the detailed pictorial instructions, you can get it assembled quickly. They have included a spare of every bolt & washer, just in case, and also the required assembly wrench. Good product!

Beautiful bedframe. We are the type to not really use headboards/footboard, we just get a frame with a base. Nothing fancy. However, we treated ourself to a California king mattress and this frame was too good of a deal to pass up. Very cute. Took about 2 hours for me to put together. Relatively simple, except when you have to use the Alan to turn the screw and the other tool just to hold the nut in place. Maybe there is a better way, but it was the quickest way for me to tighten the screw. This is only my second time putting together furniture, first time bedframe, and I managed pretty well. The metal seems great quality, as well. As sturdy as if it was one piece. Lots of space underneath too. Remember that it is just coated antique gold so be gentle when assembling.
