I bought this bed in the full size and twin size. The twin was perfect, easy to put together, everything fit, stable, sturdy, no issues. The full size however, was a pain. The directions and everything were still easy to follow but the full size had middle bars and legs for more stability and they did not fit. First the bolts for the bars aren't able to be tightened so they just hang there loose until you add the legs. Which would be fine since the legs get screwed in. Except the legs are too long. When they were attached the entire frame was lifted off the ground so the four outer legs weren't touching the floor causing the frame to sway on the middle legs which weren't completely still because the bars they're attached to can't be screwed all the way in. In the end I bought new bolts that could be tightened and tightened the middle bars so they're attached for support but I had to leave off the middle legs because they would need to be shaved down and I don't have that equipment. Without the middle legs the bed is sturdy and doesn't move or shift and with the mattress felt secure so overall I think it'll work out but we'll see how long it lasts. ... show more

Bed is perfect. I have the king size. A few things to mention. A king size bed needs 2 people to put together. It is fairly easy to put together but as in the other reviews it's certainly better if you have your own wrench. It took my daughter and myself a couple hours to put together so not a quick assembly. Be SURE you don't need instructions that you need to read. The ONLY instructions are pictures to assemble the bed which worked fine for me but if you need to read step by step instructions this is NOT the bed for you. As you can see once the pillows are on the bed you really can't see the headboard design at all. I'm okay with that I knew that going in that would be the case. We replaced our old bed with this one that had box springs. I just used our mattress which is fairly thick so there was no issues with not having the box springs. It's not squeaky at all. My husband and I did test that out. ;). I did go buy pool noodles to place over the legs because there is a set that is exactly where you would stand. I think my daughter and I hit our toes several times when puttting and making the bed and that pool noodle is a game changer over the legs. Overall, the bed is good. I'm hoping that it lasts for quite awhile I was a bit concerned when putting together the welded points. At this point I would highly recommend this bed frame. ... show more

This was not hard to put together, yes it did take time. If you look at the directions, and lay out all the pieces, and think about how it should look before you screw it all together, it goes together pretty easily. I did it by myself. The box is heavy though, so I did take it out of the box first and walk the pieces upstairs separately. Definitely don't tighten down the screws all the way until you have each section put together and are ready to move to the next step. It makes it easier to place the pieces and if you make a mistake, much easier to undo them. It looks very nice. I'm pleased with the purchase. It won't get heavy use but that's why I got it. This is where my frugality got the best of me. This is a beautiful and very sturdy bed. HOWEVER, there is a support beam on the outside side rail that is the BEST spot for endless stubbed, possibly broken toes! I would only recommend this for a guest bed, you know so you can low-key get your mother in law to not stay for so long. The side rail is two pieces, so the support is required unless perhaps maybe you have a welder in the family! Other possible solutions are steel toed slippers to get in bed or to wear while you break it down/make it. Middle of the nights we even wake to a screaming toddler with stubbed toes. I brought this up to my room on the second floor by myself, so it wasn’t *too* heavy (though it would have been nice to have help lol). I put it together in a few hours but probably could have done it faster if I didn’t start it after midnight. Overall, though, I really love this frame. This is super easy to set up. Took me about an hour alone to do it, and I am not the handiest person in the world. This bed looks so classy and elegant in my space, and completely transformed the room. It’s super sturdy and does not squeak or creak.

It’s a good solid frame for the price. If you have hardwoods I suggest putting something under the feet, as the bed easily slides across and scratches it. I have a king size bed, for this king I’ve frame. However there is about 6 inches between the bed and the top/bottom of the frame. So constantly losing pillows behind it till I can come up with a solution ... show more
