This cat tree is definitely great if you are looking for something well sized on the cheaper end of the spectrum. The “dark gray” is more of a navy blue, which is unfortunate because it doesn’t go very well with the atmosphere it’s in. If this is a deal breaker for you, maybe consider one of the other color options. In terms of assembling it, it was fairly easy. The only thing that was slightly confusing was that in the pamphlet given, they label the screws with a letter in the pamphlet, but the screws themselves aren’t labeled. So you have to estimate which screw they are referring to in the pamphlet. The sturdiness could be better. It does shake a little bit when my cats jump on it, which is not good since I have a tripod kitty with a missing eye. I think with his disability, he now is a little more hesitant to jump up after the wobbling the first time. He now stays on the lower levels. I would also point out that if you do have a cat who may have a disadvantage, so you choose to buy a cat tree with easier accessibility such as a ramp (that’s why I chose to buy this tree), I would take into consideration that this ramp is extremely steep. Steeper than I imagined. There’s no way my cat can climb up this ramp easily. Just something to think about. However, overall, the product is good for its price. Although it is not the best quality and sturdiness, if you have healthy cats who may only use a tree a few times as opposed to everyday, this could be a good option for you. I do not hate it.. my other kitten seems to enjoy it. But, if you are someone like me, who is looking for something that fits in, is functional for your kitty and requires less exertion, this probably is not worth your money. ... show more

I purchased this for my 8 month old cat, and 5 week old kitten. It has been a little under a week and both are still really skeptical of it. the older cat enjoys it more. Sturdy, and fits nicely in a corner and is not "too much" for a room. Took FOREVER to put together. The "screw driver" that is provided is not the easiest to use and definitely hurts your hands when trying to tighten the screws. First it tells you to read the instructions carefully, but has all pictures. That’s not the issue, just funny. If your cat/s are anywhere within newborn to a year in size then this jungle gym would be lovely for them. If your cat is grown or plump I’d back out now on the buying. The tower tube is not as big as it seems. I had a hard time turning the Allen wrench in it. I’m hoping I don’t come home to a cat stuck in the tube. The stairs are rather steep, so a useless decoration. The hammock would fit a gerbil comfortably, but not a cat. The soft, lint free, pet friendly, cheap fleece is not gonna last a week up against any kitty claws. I doubt the ply wood/cardboard mix will either. Cute for kittens or ferrets, but not a cat. Now I know why it was 30 something and not 200 something. Ya live ya learn. ... show more

I got this product for a 6 week old kitten. Let me just say- IT IS A GOOD PRODUCT. My cat is a destructive being but this product was able to handle him for about a year. I say it was totally worth it. Eventually he broke the circular part, but the rest of it still held up.
